Hello Friends!!!

I finally got caught up on all the posts. Wow! Lots of reading. I rushed home from work this afternoon at the onset of a stomach bug so I had some time to catch up. Ugh. Still not feeling very good right now.

So glad to see everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and enjoying getting ready for Christmas.

Michael and Diane - love all the pictures. That's one big tree. Boy would our cat love playing in that tree. Congrats on the great news Michael!

Mary and Mark, Monika and Michael, and Flo and Dan - Glad everyone had a great time visiting the mouse. Mary, Club 33 sounds wonderful.

Gary - Stay safe and warm in all that snow!

Sue and family - sounds like you are all busy with scouting activities, concerts, and more. Good luck Dustin with your solo and overall performance.

Chris - sounds like your family is busy also with all your activities...basketball, concerts, etc. Good luck to the girls.

Dave - glad you are enjoying your holiday activities with your girls also. I have been keeping my eye out for a Ken with 'cruise wear'.

Robbie - African Safari - now that sounds great! Sorry you won't be joining us but this is an opportunity you can not pass up. Enjoy!

As for the kids and I, Kyle had his first band concert on 12/9 and he has his holiday choir concert tomorrow night. He earned his Signaling merit badge this past weekend at the Coast Guard Training Facility in Cape May. They had a great time. Kyle also made All A Honor Roll for the first marking period in Middle School.

Lauren is busy with dance and Daisies. The recital this year is entitled Give a Little Whistle and based on the Pinocchio story. She was my little nurse when she got home from school. So sweet. I was on the couch and she covered me up with blankets and got me a pillow. She is so excited for Christmas and her birthday is this Friday.
We are taking a few of her friends to Friendly's to eat and then to see the Yogi Bear movie.

Me - just the same old same old. Cleaning house, laundry, christmas shopping, and more. Still no car yet. I think I mentioned before vacation that my car broke down. Starting to look at the crossovers. Hopefully I can find a good deal. Wish I could count on Santa to bring me a new car but I know there are so many others with more important needs.

Well, I am tired and I've already written a novel.

Hi Everyone!

Yes, we made it home safe and sound! Thanks so much for your concern, it means allot.

We did fly into Milwaukee yesterday! We were late by about 1/2 hour but the flights coming into Chicago were delayed by 2 hours. So I think we got the better deal. We did not get home till after nine. I tried to get in to DIS but it would not let me in. i was to tired by then to play. I had to go to work this morning while Danny and Steven slept.

It was well worth it going doen there for the holidays. The castle and the trees were so pretty. Now I want to do Halloween some time and the food and wine.

Now to plan my 2011 cruise and this one.

What does everyone else have planned for 2011? I know Dave, Gary, Mark and I are all heading to Alaska. How about everyone else? Chris you have some band trips don't you? Hard to believe the new year will be here in just a few weeks time.

You are right Mary! It makes the Magic of Disney even more magical! We are looking into a 5 night on the Dream in August.

I like vacation but it is also nice to be in your own house.

Yes, Mary, we do have a trip in March planned for WDW. The girls will be going with the school and staying off site at a Holiday Inn Express about 2 miles from SSR. And we will be staying at SSR. Can't wait. Just me and DH and we will go watch the girls perform and then say see ya! But they can come to our room during the day and we can catch up with them while we are there. Except for when they go to Universal.

Oh, me and Becca are going on her Senior trip then two weeks after we get back from Florida. And this time I am riding the bus with her. This is what I will look like when we get off. We will be going to Philadelphia, DC and NYC. I'm so excited about this trip. I just hope I will be able to go. Lots of money going out within a short amount of time. But if I do, they are going to see Wicked on Broadway. And I just so want to do that. I mean WICKED, on BROADWAY! Especially after the 2009 Member Cruise and that one gal who performed was from Wicked. How awesome.

Then our next trip planned is for October. Halloween and Food & Wine Fest. Our most favorite time of year down there. I can't remember for sure but I think it is the last weekend of October and we will be staying at BLT.

Then, and this is a big WOW ARE WE REALLY GOING TO DO THIS, a Christmas cruise on the Magic. It leaves Port Canaveral on December 24th. Bobby is so excited about this one that he wants this Christmas to be over with already. Again, I just hope it comes through for us.

Then, we have our cruise the following March with all of you. And I am so excited about this one that I can't stand it. Just to see you all again.

So, we have lots of trips planned for the next year and a half. Oh, Boy.

Chris it sounds like you have a very busy year ahead but one that is going to be filled with so many memories! I think you will love a Christmas cruise. I know that the one we took in 2004 is one of our favorites. The only downside is that we found airfare a lot higher than early December when we used to fly down to Disney. Just keep an eye out as the year goes on and if you find a good fare grab it.
