Our plans for 2011 are the SSMC11 but the kids do not even know about it.

I mentioned that I was putting a Disney Dream cruise on my list to Santa and guess what I found on their lists the next day.

They will be getting a call from Goofy Christmas morning welcoming them aboard. I am also going to wrap a box for the family with the details. It will have a note that they can not open until they get a special call.

That should be fun!

Gotta run. Kids are getting out of PREP in a few minutes. I'm out sitting in the cold. Brrrr.

You guys are the best - thank you so much for wishing me a magical day! It's been great so far. Went out for an early breakfast with Tom and John, then went and picked out the tile for the landing at the front door. Then did a few odds and ends before going to work. Home from work around 5:15 and Tom was cooking dinner while john was finishing up with the tile. Dustin is at final rehearsal for his concert tomorrow, and should be done around 8:00. Then we'll finish celebrating with a game of pinnocle (sp?) (I hope).

Lisa - I love the idea that the kids will get a call from Goofy on Christmas! How cool is that!

Hi, its in the 20's here and rain/sleeting...ugh


Well I called DCL this morning and moved our room from deck 6 to 8 I think we will be much happier there. and we are only paying 30.00 per person more.

Morning, well is still cold here, it was rain/sleet here last night. My DSIL drives a 18 wheeler and was out in this. Drives from Springfield Missouri to somewhere in ILL over night. I am just a bit concerned about him.

Talked to DD last night and she said they delayed sending him out last night, cause they wanted to give road crews time to work, Then we got word that they closed a stretch between St. Louis and Rolla, fire truck and salt trucks off the road. So I have not heard yet how he is doing. This time of year scares me!

Good morning everyone - happy Thursday! Even better it is my Friday. Using up another vacation day tomorrow. Then next week I go in for only 2 days, and 2 days the week after. Of course after all of that will be year end which will be crazy. Today is also our office holiday lunch. I missed the company lunch when we were out in Disneyland, but the office usually has a pot luck lunch at Christmas. This year they picked the day the Sales staff is having their quarterly meeting so they will be joining us and since they usually bring in lunch for their meetings they are springing for Lou Malnatti's pizza for everyone.

Dianne - good thoughts for your SIL. We didn't get any snow up by us but I know further south has been hit with some. BTW - we're on deck 8 as well!

Sue glad you had a great birthday. Good luck to Dustin on his concert.

Lisa that is great about the kids wish list and getting the call from Goofy. Hope you have the video camera rolling!

Got some snow here overnight. Maybe around an inch or a little more. Not too bad here by us.

Dianne - here's hoping your SIL stayed put till the roads were passable. Don't know how they could let him out to drive if they pulled the salt trucks off the roads because of the slickness of them. Hope roads improve for you guys down there.

Mary - how nice to finish the year with lots of vacation days. Enjoy your Christmas luncheon. How nice that sales staff is getting pizza for everyone! Sounds yummy.

And thanks for the countdown. 66 Weeks.

Bobby checked out our countdown for March this morning and said we hit the 90 day mark. Can't wait for it to get here.

Well just got some news, DSIL got home at 4:30 a.m. They turned him around, Highway 44 was closed and told him it should be open this morning. But on the news they are talking like it is still closed down.

Mary, so glad to hear about the party, and glad you get to take more vacation.

Lisa, I think your Christmas is going to be totaly awesome. I wish I could be there to watch.

Dianne - Glad they turned him around. I talked to Steven this morning and asked him how it was down south. He is in Mt Vernon, il he is a little over an hour away from St. Louis. He said that his car looked like a giant ice rock. He said it was bad.

Thanks for posting this Monika but it is just wrong I say. Just wrong. There should be no snow on Mickey's ship. It should be somewhere warm and sunny. At a beach somewhere. Not covered in snow.
