Dave, I've never heard of Milikens Reef. Just checked their website and it sounds nice. Is it new? Have you dined there before?

We usually do Grills and in July a group of us met up for Breakfast there before heading over to the port.

I know you had told us about Grilles, and we have eaten there several times. When we were down for our last cruise, we weren't up for the wait and someone told us about Millikens Reef, It was VERY good. What a view of the actual harbor area. Just something different.

If everyone is up for it I'll be happy to do my weekly countdown starting this Thursday!

Slightly off topic (but with this group what is really off topic) - has anyone here ever stayed at Port Orleans Riverside?

We had some reservation points that needed to be used so we're booked for 4 nights in March to see Flower and Garden. Since Port Orleans is one of the few WDW resorts we've never stayed at we thought we'd give it a try.

We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside when it was known as Dixie Landings. We stayed there a few times and really loved it.

Before and after our cruise we will be staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge. That will be our first time staying there. Looking forward to that.

I know the cruise is far away and plans can change, but for those coming in early are you thinking WDW or the port?

We are thinking of flying in this time and the last couple of times we did that we've stayed out by the port (not Member Cruises). Not sure what we'll do yet for this one.

We will probably fly in a few days before so we can get our park time in and go from our resort to the terminal. But we will definitely do our own transportation some how. Don't like how late the Disney transportation runs. Makes me feel like I've missed half of embarkation day.

Good Morning Everyone!!!

The excitement is building around here. I did my cruise research the other night and narrowed down the rooms. I sent a text to my BFF (college roommate) the other day to see if she was interested in joining and her initial response was yes. I emailed her all the details late last night so as soon as I hear back from her I will book.

And, if she decides she is not able to join me then I will still book the room. And work it all out later when I determine who will be joining me.
