Dianne asked about transportation from the airport to the port and using the Disney Transportation or limo service. Well, my question is what is the best limo service to use?

We used one once and the ride out to the port was great. Driver nice and friendly, plenty of room in the car for all of us and our stuff. But, using the same service back from the port to WDW we all thought we were going to DIE! The driver was crazy. Not enough room in the trunk for our luggage and he was very rude when we got to our destination. So we have been very hesitant of using a town car service again.

So who would you recommend if you have used a good one? Or can you say who to use here? :confused3

Don't know if I can say but we used FLTours and the last time was Aladdin Limo Service. We have had exceptionally good luck. I have heard of others using the first one and getting stranded.

We've only used a limo service once from the port. It was Southern Elegance and they were fantastic. We took a limo from the port to the Beach Club, then a town car from the Beach Club to the airport the next day. This was back in 2004 after our 10 day cruise. Well we left a tube in the limo that had a Ducky Williams sketch we had won. They called later that afternoon to tell us and passed it on to the driver of the town car to return to us.

Michael and I prefer to use a car service. The one we use is Ace Luxury Transportation. Very clean cars, good drivers and a very comfortable ride. We highly recommend them.

So I have a question has anyone ever used Disney Transport for the Airport to the ship? If so do they have you sit around the airport until they have a group to transport. Just wondering since we have not used it before.

Or is better, just to rent a car?

With two of us, we take the bus...love it. They take your luggage and you don't have to worry about a thing...the bus picks you up at 11:45 and off to the terminal. We have left from the airport, from the hotel at the airport, from SSR and from VWL. It is relaxing to us...$140 for two roud trip.

Susan

Dianne-We have never taken the Bus, we have either taken limo transportation or rented a car. With 4 of us, it is usually cheaper to take the towncar. I am sure someone on here has done the busses before.

Is that Joanne that did the WBTA this year? I was wondering if she knew. I wonder what cruise she is doing in Feb, as I will be doing a trip on the Dream. Hopefully she joins us!

I think it is , boosgrahm I think is her sign on. We kept running into each other on the ship and off the ship, it was kind of funny, It was like we were following each other.

Good morning everyone! Happy Monday!

Today is my last day of my 4 day weekend (using up a few vacation days).

Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week ahead!

Good Morning Fellow Cruisers!!
Back to work today, getting ready for the winter season. Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning my Cruisin' Buddies!

Happy Monday! Supposed to be a nice day here in Jersey!

Sorry I haven't been on during all of this excitement of starting our cruise! Our friends from England are here for a visit and will be here til Thursday. I'm sure I'll be on more then - of course!

I'm trying to catch up on everyone's post. :)

Mary- Tanya and I will be sailing on the Dream in February as well, we(I) will scope out the perfect Sunrise Club Reunion spot!

Fantastic! Make sure it has at least a table or two because it seems like our little morning gathering has gained in popularity!! :thumbsup2

A reminder on how the Swan/Pirate game works:

To get a swan,
Every 99th post = 1 ES
Every 499th post = 2 ESes
Every 999th post = 3 ESes

t get a pirate.
Every 100th post = 1 Pirate
Every 500th post = 2 Pirates
Every 1000th post = 3 Pirates

OK, In the interest of fair play and WWWD (What would Walt do), I would like to propose some simple rules for the Swan and Pirate game.
If there is only one swan/pirate at stake and you don't have one yet, please wait until 95 posts are in for that run, then GO NUTS WITH THE POSTS!!!
Also, when there's more than one Swan/Pirate on the line, please don't do the multiple post thing. That's more in the spirit on the game,
to get more people involved in the thread. OK, I'm off my soapbox now. These are the rules we had on the other thread I had the game on.
I hope no one is offended and we have a great time with the game.

Your Humble Pirate Master,
Gary

Great Idea, Gary! Although I'm probably one of the more competitive ones (:confused3) sorry it's in my blood - I think this is great and will be lots more fun! Thanks for taking charge of our little game!

Thanks guys for the names of some limo services. We will be checking on them. :)

Good Morning Chris!

We used one the last time we went and it was fantastic - but of course there were 6 of us. But it ended up being faster and cheaper. And we had great drivers. I'll ask Gail what the name of the service was cause she made all of the arrangements for that! :)

Morning all, we have been taking about the car situation and it seems to us it might be cheaper for the two of us to just rent a car and drive our self. Also thinking of coming in a a day early. I like a safety net.

Good Morning Sue!

Sounds like you are having a great time with your friends. It is nice that they are able to come over and visit you.

So will Gail be joining us on this cruise too?

And thanks for checking on the limo service you used.

Help! I can't get the cruise logo on my signature!

I tried following Dave's directions and that didn't work either! What do I do - or what am I doing wrong??

I think so but she will probably let me know later. She's going on the ssmc11 with us and we're excited about that! I know she will want to but it will depend on work I'm sure!

It took me a couple of tries before it finally worked. But I followed Dave's directions and it worked. So keep trying :confused3
