Just thought I would share this. My daughter just sent me a picture of her ID badge for her new job she starts today. She will be in merchandising on Main Street. She got the job I always wanted...

Just want to share some info with you. We have been shipping a box with our FE gifts, small room fan and other small items to the port....what a life saver. Less worries...more space in suitcases. I have the address to the port warehouse. Let me know...maybe it can be added to the first page.

The other thing we did and will definitely do again...ship our FE gifts home. Boardwalk, Contemporary, Coronado Springs, Grand Floridian and Yacht Club all have business centers that are operated by IKON Office Solutions. What we did was get a box from the business center, took it back to our room, packed the box and then returned to the business center. It was shipped that afternoon. It was delivered via UPS (we shipped Friday...got home from Florida on Monday, the package arrived on Wednesday). The only things we brought with us was the packing tape. If anyone wants to know prices...I still have the paper with that info. I also have phone #'s.

Mary- Tanya and I will be sailing on the Dream in February as well, we(I) will scope out the perfect Sunrise Club Reunion spot!

Excellent! I didn't realize you guys were sailing on her. Enjoy!

Monika-That is a great idea, I was wondering how to get it all to Port with the new "baggage charges".

A reminder on how the Swan/Pirate game works:

To get a swan,
Every 99th post = 1 ES
Every 499th post = 2 ESes
Every 999th post = 3 ESes

t get a pirate.
Every 100th post = 1 Pirate
Every 500th post = 2 Pirates
Every 1000th post = 3 Pirates

OK, In the interest of fair play and WWWD (What would Walt do), I would like to propose some simple rules for the Swan and Pirate game.
If there is only one swan/pirate at stake and you don't have one yet, please wait until 95 posts are in for that run, then GO NUTS WITH THE POSTS!!!
Also, when there's more than one Swan/Pirate on the line, please don't do the multiple post thing. That's more in the spirit on the game,
to get more people involved in the thread. OK, I'm off my soapbox now. These are the rules we had on the other thread I had the game on.
I hope no one is offended and we have a great time with the game.

Your Humble Pirate Master,
Gary

Bolding and color is mine. I agree 100%. I'd rather see lots of people get them than one or two people because they come in with 10 or more posts to go and just do smilies etc. It is much more fun your way.

Thanks!:thumbsup2

I so agree Monika. We did that after the last two cruises. Shipped all the gifts we got home and it was like Christmas then when the box showed up. And we found that when we stayed at the Poly we just went up to the desk and asked about shipping and they told us to go to the store and ask for a box, pack it up and bring it back to them and they would take care of the rest. Last year since we were at BLT we went to the business center, bought a box from them, packed it up, took it back and they did the rest. It cost us $32.25 last year to ship the box home. It was so very easy. And we will do it again in a heart beat.

Monika and Chris - thanks for the info on shipping. We've never needed it as we've driven to the Member Cruises but we are talking about flying down for this one so just may use it. :thumbsup2

My dream nametagged job!!!!!!

Congrats to your daughter.

So I have a question has anyone ever used Disney Transport for the Airport to the ship? If so do they have you sit around the airport until they have a group to transport. Just wondering since we have not used it before.

Or is better, just to rent a car?

well I will be hanging out here tonight, Facebook keeps kicking me out. I sent them a message hope they get corrected soon.

I got hold of Joanne and let her know we are planning this cruise, she said they were taking a cruise in Febuary, I think and would most likley book then.

I also told her that Mary started a thread, hopefully she will drop in.

Dianne,

We have used it. When the bus was full it took off for the DCL terminal. We were not there to long. Maybe 15 20 minutes.

Hope this helps.

Dianne-We have never taken the Bus, we have either taken limo transportation or rented a car. With 4 of us, it is usually cheaper to take the towncar. I am sure someone on here has done the busses before.

Is that Joanne that did the WBTA this year? I was wondering if she knew. I wonder what cruise she is doing in Feb, as I will be doing a trip on the Dream. Hopefully she joins us!

Hope everyone had a good day. We just got back a little while ago from taking our daughter back to school. We had a great visit with her...wish it could have been longer.

Ray ...Congratulations and good luck to your daughter with her new job.

Thank you all for the kind words for my daughter, I'm still waiting to see a picture of her in her costume.
I do have a question. Earlier today, someone mentioned having to choose a show time as well as dining time. Dont they coincide with each other?

Ray,

They do on the Magic and Wonder. Early dinner/late show and late dinner/early show. However the Dream is so much bigger that there are two dining times and three show times. So you have to pick with of the two show times you want to go to. Hope that makes sense.
