Good Morning Fellow Cruisers!!

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Diane-Your yard looks very nice, thanks for the pics! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Diane and Michael-Congrats on the :bride: and pirate:

Have a good day!

:surfweb: Good Morning everyone. :)

Dianne...just love the photos of your Christmas decorations...and such a beautiful tree. :thumbsup2

I've been told that all the Christmas decorations are all in place at my second home--Boardwalk. :):yay: I can't wait. Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party and DVC's Merry Mixer. We plan to resort hop to see the decorations. Have my camera and laptop with me. Will be sharing some photos.

When we get back from our trip, we will go pick up our Christmas tree that we tagged after Thanksgiving. We will also be putting up decorations outside. I love the Christmas season.

It is sooooo cold here. We had snow flurries yesterday morning. Today, it is windy and still cold. The temperature right now is 30 degrees---wind chill 22 degrees.

Have a great day and take care. :flower3:

Good morning everyone - happy Monday!

Monika Boardwalk is our home as well. Enjoy the decorations! Have fun at the Christmas Party and Mixer as well. The ornament this year is very cute.

We had a rainy day yesterday so after doing California Adventure in the morning and then meeting a friend for lunch we just chilled in the room the rest of the day. We were able to listen to and catch some glimpses of World of Color from our room which was nice.

Today is our last day so back to the Magic Kingdom.

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning everyone. :hippie:

Dianne - thanks for the christmas photos. Very nice. Wow, your tree is big. Please share when you get it decorated.

Have a great time Monika. Hopefully the weather will warm up down there for you. I think I saw today's high is to be in the 50's. Still, better than 20 at home.

Mary - enjoy your last day at the Magic Kingdom.

And Happy Monday! :flower3:

:cool2::dance3:Walk in to the house ,and smell the tree .The tree smells very good

Well since DH is talking about the tree, I am going to share some pics

CherryCakeandThanksgivingandtree006.jpg

Here is the Tree DH picked out, they picked it up with a fork lift to get it to the pick up truck. DS was nice enough to come over and help DH bring it it the house.

And here it is just after removing the netting:rotfl::rotfl:

CherryCakeandThanksgivingandtree009.jpg

My guess is the tree is so big, once the lights get on it will get mighty hot in that room:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Oh I love real trees!

I am going to miss are this year.

I love the size. How big is it?
:surfweb:

Dianne - Nice decorations. Like the Mickey heads linnng the walk way.

Great job Michael!

Everyone leaving for my favorite place, travel safe!!

oh Sue......Sue.....:confused3 Where could she be? Hope everything is okay and you are just busy with Holiday stuff!

Have a good night!

Flo the tree is 8 1/2 foot, The trunk is 7 inches wide. And has very heavy limbs, looks to be a tinsle tree. You know they don't sell the real stuff anymore.

But we have a whole case about 20 years old, I will look beautiful, Have been saving it for just the right tree. Plus we did not want to use it when we had a pet.

DH has begun putting on the lights:rotfl:

Good Morning Fellow Cruisers!

Dianne-Your tree is awesome, please post some decorated pictures!!

Monika, Flo, and Carrie (I believe I have it right) Have fun at the World!

Good morning everyone - happy Tuesday!

We head home this morning. I hope everyone headed to WDW has as much fun as we did!

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning all, may all whom are traveling, have a very safe trip.

Mary, get ready for the cold...bundle up its cold outside.

Good Morning all my Friends!!

Here I am!! Sorry for the long absence - just going crazy as usual! But no excuse, I should at least say good morning each day! I will try to do better . . . ;)

Bitter cold here and very windy. I don't mind the cold but the wind could cease at any time and I would be delighted! I still have some decorations to put out and haven't done it because of the wind! Gotta finish or I'll go crazy with all of these totes in the house.

Monika, Flo and Carrie - have a fantastic time in the Christmas wonderland of WDW. Don't miss any of the gingerbread houses (and other shapes) and please eat a shingle for me! Yummy!
Please travel safely and we can't wait to hear about your trips!

Mary, I have to get on FB to check out the pictures but I'm so happy for you and Mark that you got into the Club 33 - how cool is that! I could only dream . . .

Dave - I missed you too. :rotfl: Really like the new avatar!! What inspired that!!! :rotfl2: Trying to get away from your clean-cut, ascot-wearing Ken image? :lmao:

Hey Chris - have any snow yet? Are the girls getting ready for holiday concerts and stuff?

Dianne and Michael - your decorations are great! Where did you get those cool Mickey head lawn things??? I love them! I'm so inspired that as soon as we get the rest of the front done I will take some pictures and post them too. Let's get in the holiday spirit here!

I excited because middle DS Tom will be home sometime on Thursday night for a few weeks! His gold course is in the mountains in NC and has to close after Thanksgiving and then will reopen in March - he has to be back at the end of February. So he'll be here for a nice visit for the holidays and then be off to visit friends and members of his club at their Florida or somewhere southern homes and golf. . . and golf . . . and did I mention that he will golf! Ahhh, to be young again! :worship:

Have been missing you all lately - holidays always make me do the warm and fuzzy thing, I'm sappy that way - sorry! :lovestruc

I can't believe I missed another :bride: and pirate:! I really have to get my game together here!!! :rotfl2:

Congrats Dianne and Michael!! ;)

Good Tuesday Morning fellow cruisers! :hippie:

Mary - glad you and Mark had a great time at Disneyland. It went by way too fast. Can't believe you are heading home already. Ah, well, now you can look forward to your next trip. :goodvibes Hope you share more photos.

Dianne - I must say again, that is one BIG tree! Can't wait to see it all decorated.

Dave - new avatar is great.

Monika & Michael - safe travels today. Hope it warms up down there for you.

Flo & Danny & Son (sorry can't remember his name) - safe travels tomorrow.

And Carrie - safe travels to you too for when you leave.

Sue - no snow here yet. :yay: Just a few flurries now and then. I can wait for it to really snow. Say like, NEVER! :rotfl: But I know it will some day. And yes the girls are getting ready for their Christmas concerts. They are really late this year and just right before winter break. The band concert is on the 19th and the vocal is on the 21st. They get out for break on the 22nd. So hope there is no bad weather then cuz there is no time to reschedule before Christmas. And the vocal concert is soooooo cool. It is at one of the churches in town and just so beautiful. And the seniors get to do solos and Becca is going to be singing "Once Upon A December" from Anastasia. Love that movie and song. I already cry when I hear her sing it so I will be a blubbering Mom at the concert I'm sure.

So how is Dustin? Is he feeling better and back at school full force?

And :yay: for Tom to be coming home for the holidays. I'm sure it will be so nice for you to have him there.

Well, need to get off and get to work. Have a great day! :flower3:

:flower3:

Yes, finally Dustin is back at school! Thanks for checking about him. I really have to get him an appointment after the holidays and see if we can figure out whats going on with him and this stomach bit.

His concerts are on Dec. 14 and 16. Choir is on the 14th and we will go to see that even though Dustin didn't have time for that this semester. Our director is fantastic and can't wait to see it. Dustin is soooo excited about his jazz performance, and he has a solo part in one song so he's really set! They wear tuxedos (for the boys of course) when they play especially at the jazz festivals, but Dustin was so small in the waist that they had to order him a brand new one cause they didn't have any that would fit him!! :rotfl: I'll try to get a picture of him in it - can't wait!

Tell the girls we are sending them lots of luck for the concerts! Wish we could hear them all. And don't worry - I'm right there with you on the blubbering part - I do it in the kitchen when I hear him practice - I can't wait to see how silly I will be at the real deal!

Dave, are the girls in anything for the holidays at school?

We are getting slammed with snow here. We even have a Weather Channel person (NOT Jim Cantore, very disappointed:sad2:) in town to give live reports.
I'm sore today from shoveling and snow blowing and will have to do it all over again when I get home from work.

I hope everyone had/is having safe travels and that you took some warm clothes.

Sue-Good Luck to Dustin!! Yes my girls have Christmas performances and public concerts. This past wekend we had the town wide Festival of Lights and my youngest sang Christmas Carols. Glad to see you back on!! Your son recieved the packages we sent and has responded with a photo and thanks! We can't thank those over there enough!

Chris- Good luck to Becca and Brooke!

The avatar was a play on words, someone had thought my screen name was just that Man a scar fan, but it's actually MA Nascar Fan...rofl
