March 2011, Who Is Planning?

We'll be @ POR 3/26-4/1/2011 for our Grand Gathering! 13 in our group.
:cool1: Can't wait!

Debating...I did March this year and while the crowds were bare..the weather was freezing and windy (unusually cold) and we paid 1200.00 more as the prices are peak. That was on the 4/3 discount as well.ohhhhhh what to do???

Wow, wondering what parks I missed in March 2010, I thought it was very busy and crowded. Lots to cheerleaders. But, yes it was very cold for March. Hoping 2011 will be better.:wizard:
We are planning march 8 > 22nd. Not sure what resort yet. popcorn:: Trying to decide. Leaning toward Yc / Bc?? But, really hoping for a bounceback rate for march on my Oct trip. ;)

We were there the first week. I choose it because of a rating that week got as to be the most empty and it sure was!

We're looking at going March 27 to April 2 for DD's Spring Break.
We LUV WL, but the rack rates seem to be budget busters, so unless some significant discounts or promo rates become available, we're thinking of staying at the Swan.

(And hey, even if it's cold then by Florida standards, it HAS to be warmer than what we'll have in Minnesota!)

We're tentatively planning for March 3-7 for a quickie girls-only trip to take advantage of the weird free dining offer and the opening weekend of Flower & Garden. Haven't decided yet where we want to stay - I'd like to try CSR or POFQ because we haven't yet and come July we'll officially be too large a family for a single moderate room, but with a 2yo I'm having a hard time resisting the lure of CBR for the zero-entry pool.

I'm not all that worried about the weather. We swam in January and December, I think we'll manage in March. I'm developing quite a collection of my kids swimming in front of lifeguards in jackets, hats, and gloves. :rotfl: What passes for swimming weather for us is apparently downright cold by Florida standards.

Planning 1st trip for grandson's 5th bday, march 15-19, 2011. Staying at All Star Sports w/QSDP. Hoping for some deals...

Just booked out trip at OKW from March 12 to the 19th. We cruised last Feb and then stayed at the Hard Rock...it was freezing. Hoping for MUCH warmer weather!!! Last year was waaaay toooo cold and I said I would not do it again...so hoping for some warm sunshine and days by the pool. Also planning on getting to see some spring training games! Go Cardinals.:thumbsup2

We were at Disney last Feb. too when they had record lows. It was so cold. So this year we were thinking the end of March which is our kids spring break. I hope the weather is just a bit warmer, I don't want to have to bundle up again like that.

For those of you that attended disney on spring break in the past, is it really crowded? How long would estimate wait times for attractions?

We are planning on our trip for Mar 12. Right now we are booked at VWL but we are hoping for a week at the BCV.

We are considering a late March 2011 trip, we have airline credits we have to use up by April. Can anyone tell me what the crowd levels are for that time of year? Also what kind of discounts are usually offered? We have only been in October and January. We will either be staying at POP or POR.

TIA:goodvibes

it looks like march 16-23 heading down.....getting prices now....staying at pop....what's are the park's like.....how is the temp.....can you swim?...did i see somewhere that pop had an overhaul?.....

I had org. planned for March, then changed to May.

Now I'm back to March, not as hot and its that darn free dining that gets me.

Myself and my DS17 will be at POP from Feb 28 to March5. Still cant believe I waited this late to make ressie with free dining and still got what we wanted, since I got eveything dinner we wanted and its my Birthday Month, maybe its a sign of good visit.

Now only if I can come up with another 500.00 to fly and not drive.

We are going March 3 - March 9, CSR at the moment. If I could get a room discount instead of the Free Dining I will grab it and run over to a different resort, although CSR looks beautiful.

Looking forward to cooler temps than we had in July.

We're heading down March 1-7:dance3: Taking Oma along this time- actually she's meeting us there. WE have the easy flight-NJ to Orlando. She's coming from Amsterdam! Checking in to the FW Cabins- we hope it's a good choice. We stayed at Animal Kingdom and Poly last 2 times. Heck, I'd stay in a shoebox if it meant a week at WDW!

You'll be there when we are!:) We will be at Pop February 27-March 5, and I'm so excited that I may spontaneously combust before that! We originally planned for May as well, but the free dining drew me in (along with a space shuttle launch scheduled for Feb. 26). We haven't encountered any ADP issues either, I made a reservation for LeCellier about fifteen minutes ago without so much as a hiccup in the time frame. :cheer2:

Joining in because my bestie wants to take her daughter so hers to another trip added. Im looking into things first but I figured March 30th-April 2nd on rented DVC points at the AKL. Not for sure yet but Im looking to seeing how everything goes. Im excited for another WDW trip!!

We are going during our spring break, March 21-25, staying at POP. It is our family's first ever trip to WDW (DH went once as a child for only a day).

Hoping for beautiful weather and manageable crowds...DH is a teacher, and we have to come during school breaks, so we decided at least March wouldn't be as hot as summer.
