March 13th 2011 Fiesta time on the Wonder!

I think I have figured out what we are doing for our FE gifts!! :cool1: My only question is if were going to take it and it includes a chocolate treat can this be taken on the cruise or will I have to purchase it on the cruise? Does anyone know? We are getting soooo excited I have gotten the clothes out and are planning as if were leaving next week!! Guess I am getting the "fever" to get this vacation going!!! I honestly have not been this excited about anything in a very long time!!
Thanks for any tips on the FE

Check out the following link. There are three different itinerary alternatives A, B & C. Our sailing has alternative 'B', where most other sailings have 'A'. You will see that "A" has the ship in Cabo two consecutive days. Where as 'B' has the ship in Cabo one day, then to PV and back to Cabo on another day. Alternative 'C' leaves Mazatlan in the itinerary. To find out which one of these itineraries is available you need to go to "Cruises & Destinations" , 'Mexico", "Find A Cruise" and check out each sailing date.

I noticed that the other day as well. I'm glad we have B, I think I like it better than having Cabo 2 days in a row! But you know, it doesn't matter where we go--just that we're going with the Mouse!!! :woohoo::yay::dance3:

I am with you Jac.....i am just happy to be on the ship!! I am cutting Mickey Heads out right now. We went to Home Depot and took the Mickey heads from the paint department!! I am going to cut them out and put magnets on the back of them and decorate our door!! :)

Still no room assignment and I have checked 3 times today :lmao:

I don't know what my deal is. I haven't gone "cruise" shopping, I haven't started door decorations, and I haven't totally obsessed on this cruise. Normally, I'm a maniac 3 months out. My DD didn't even realize we're going on a cruise in 5 weeks. I mentioned it to her this AM and it was a complete surprise to her. What is wrong with me? I'm excited to go, no doubt at all, but am a lot more relaxed about it this time. :confused3

5 Weeks?? :cheer2: Wow that really makes it sound closer!!! I haven't done much either. Today was the first day I really sat down and printed things out. I hope none of you mind, but I am going to pack light....so if you see me wearing the same thing over and over, just smile and pretend you don't notice :rolleyes1

Hello:

We are sailing on the Wonder on the March 13 Sailing. This is our first Disney Cruise, we have sailed with Celebrity and Carnival before.

Can someone give me an idea of when we should expect to receive our Cruise Documents? We are travelling with Grandma this time. I did all the travel arrangments and we are meeting at the Port in LA. She is in Sacramento CA and we are in TX. I want to make sure I have enough time to FedEx her the luggage tags and anything else she may need.

I have completed all the Online Check-in forms.

Also, does anyone know if any form of Non Dairy Milk is available onboard? DD is allergic to Dairy and we use Soy products at home (Soy Milk, Soy Yogurt, Soy Cheese, and Soy IceCream). Soy, Rice, Almond, any of the substitutes will be fine, just no cow. If they do not have onboard I am assuming we can bring our own, but difficulty is refrigeration until we can put it away in the stateroom. How quickly would we be able to access at least the refrigerator in the stateroom after boarding? It will not be the end of the world if DD does not have her version or "Milk" or "Yogurt" for one week. She will be happy with the just Juice and Water.

Also, I know DD, and us parents, will have a great time on the ship. I am a little concerned about Grandma. Especially if DD chooses to spend most of her time away in the Kids only areas. Grandma is coming mainly to spend time with DD. What are the thoughts of you other GP's out there? Did you enjoy the ship even if the grandkid wasn't around? Are there quiet places to go off and read without being stuck in the stateroom. We did book 2 adjoining cabins as opposed to all sharing one, so grandma does have some quiet privacy if needed.

We did book late dining. How long do most of you find dinner takes? We are of the mind set that this is vacation it's ok to stay up a little late, but we do want everyone to be able to get up in the mornings and go ashore or enjoy breakfast or whatever the case may be.

Thank You for your help.

If you log in to Disney Cruise site, and review your reservation, they have an area for Special Instructions. There you can indicate your food allergy. If I were you, I would contact Disney prior to the cruise and alert them to this allergy so they can prepare. On our first cruise, a family at our table had a Kosher request that they didn't communicate to Disney before sailing. The restaurant staff struggled every evening to accomadate because special meals are brought on specifically for special needs communicated. :-) So, notate your reservation and call Disney.

How old is your DD? We haven't cruised with family before but my mother and sister have said they wouldn't want to cruise with us because we split up during the day. But everyone is different. For us, we see each other for dinner and the shows. (My kids are 7 and 17.) There are times we'll get DD out of the club, because we want to do something with her, or she pages us. What we love about Disney is we can spend time together when we want to and don't have to spend time together when we don't want to.

Dinners can take awhile. At least an hour +. There have been times we've been in there for 2 hours. We've never had late seating so I can only speak for the earlier dining time.

After all that, WELCOME!! So glad you're joining us and found us!!!

Well I would vote we each just bring one outfit and trade off every other day, I DEFINITELY will be wearing many things over, just switch up the top/bottom to throw you all! :)

Does anyone know how to delete a Quote Box? I requested a magnet and did it with a quote instead of Rep.y, made the person mad and was asked to delete it. I don't know how and they keep sending me a PM wanting me to do it. They're starting to get nasty, I'm so stressed over this.

If you send a PM to a moderator, they might be able to help you delete it. I think they have the power to do that. I just thought of this idea :) Sorry I couldn't help more.

Hope, they are the moderator and they are not willing to help. Anyone else know what to do????

Can you just "Edit" and delete the entire content of the post? :confused3
What thread is it?

DIS Discussion Forums, Creative, Major League Baseball #143. I tried to Edit it but then the yellow box is gone. Here's what they wrote:

Post #143 has not been edited to remove the quote. Please look at it again. See the yellow box that says Quote Originally posted by RustManFan?

Please remove the quote and then I will re-post the KC Royals DISign.

I am NOT talking about you removing your own text.

No need to do anything with #141...

You should be able to "Edit" the 143 post and remove the part that begins with the [ and QUOTE and ends after the [ bracket /QUOTE. You should be able to just leave your "Thanks" note there. Let me know if that works!

Denise, RustFanMan is not a moderator or it would say that under their name. They are the creator of that thread, but we have moderators that watch all the threads. If you contact them, I will try to find out who it is, then they can help you. Tell them this person is stressing you out and you don't understand what you did wrong.

I found a moderator of the DISigns board.....Go to the DISign threads, click on the one that says "How to ask for Designs Tips & faqs" The moderator has the first post. Their name is Chaoscent, click on their name and then click on send a private message, tell them your problem and see if they can help...let me know if that works
