March 13th 2011 Fiesta time on the Wonder!

Apparently, I have too much time on my hands today. I just canceled the Harbor Cruise & booked the Buggy, Beach & Swim. So everyone, quit talking about excursions now.....I can't change my mind again. :lmao:

We are set now....1st day in Cabo we have brunch @11:30, then we will get off the ship and walk around and shop. In PV we are doing the Yelapa & Majahuitas. 2nd stop in Cabo we are doing the Buggy Beach & Swim.

Now, I have to stay off the DCL website!!! Oh wait, I am still waiting on a room assignment.

The Buggy, Beach and Swim looks like a lot of fun. We have a 9 year old so we do not meet the age requirement. Oh well, something to look forward to next time. :goodvibes

That is very interesting about the Palo brunch on a port day. I think it is a first!

Yes we are on deck one. We have been on deck 2 three previous cruises and loved it there, so close to the restaurants and tween club for my boys.
I was disappointed a bit about deck one.... It just seems so weird to be on that deck......nothing there! But it was an upgrade and we are pleased that we are all together at least.
But I am only hearing good things about that deck, so maybe it won't be too bad. thanks for sharing!

Our port time in PV is until 7 pm. That is what I was told. So we booked 11:15. There are 9 of us and I feel quite confident that we will be back before 5. If our port times changes between now and when we are in port, we will look into changing it then. I am sure this company is more then accommodating to cruise passengers on time changes.
We have to get up early for our Cabo 4x4 adventure that we booked for the Friday, so to be able to sleep in a bit at this port is a welcomed idea by my boys.
If you haven't done Palo before, you should really try it. The offering at the brunch are just amazing!

I was just about to book the 9:15 and checked the Disney cruise site again and the PV times have changed. It is now saying 8:45-7:00pm. Do you think you will make it to the pick-up location by 9:00am? I have to go back and rethink this some more and may be doing the 11:15am again now.

Well I went ahead and booked the 11:15 out of Collage. Son3disfan, looks like we will be joining you all.

TA still says we are in port at 7:30. He also says that those times are island(land times not ship times) for those of us wondering.

Hopefully after this weeks ship docks they will better know what times are correct!

I am anxiously waiting to hear reports from the first cruise. I will change our times if need be once we know for sure but wanted to get something booked.

I may be changing to the 11:15 the way this is going! Just went back into disney after having been in it 15 minutes ago and now mine is showing this. 15 minutes and it changes yet again.
We are in Cabo such short times now I don't know if it is even worth getting off the ship! I think it is a way to make us book excursions through the ship. Not much to do through the ship with a 7 year old. Things that don't cost an arm and a leg!

ummm....if we aren't getting into PV until 8:45....I will miss my DCL excursion that starts at 7:45.....:confused3 I know they will fix it but this will drive any serious planner crazy:scared1:

hopelea,
You still haven't gotten your room assignment?! Nothing like DCL to stretch it as longs as possible. We will all do a happy dance when you get it.:banana:

I did have a room #, but then I upgraded to a CAT 6A GTY, now I don't have a room ##.......

Hope,

Yeah, you are going with us on the beach, buggy, swim excurison. I do not know if we will see the arches, but they are right there so there is a strong possibility that we will. Bummer that you have to be 10 years old cause I am sure the younger kiddos would really enjoy it. I guess it is a safety factor.

I do not think the times for our ports will be finalized until they have run the new route a few times. I am also a serious planner, and it has been hard to deal with all the changes. We are still going to Aquaventuras Water Park to swim with the dolphins in PV, meeting friends at their resort on Medano beach the 1st day in Cabo, and then buggy driving the 2nd day. I am NOT changing a thing!!

If you are going to Dave and Busters will you please respond with a head count of adults and kiddos so I can call them and see what they can do for us.

I am off to continue working on my FE gifts. I sure hope everyone likes them.

We'll be there. There may be 4 of us. At the least, 3 of us. 2 adults, 2 children.

just got this from my TA:

Disney Cruise Line® has recently announced that, for departures through April 17, 2011, the 7-night and 10-night Mexican Riviera itineraries will replace calls to Mazatlán with an additional call to Cabo San Lucas. The decision to modify the Mexican Riviera itineraries was made in part due to the changing environment in Mazatlán and our continued focus on making the safety of our Guests a top priority. Guests/travel partners with reservations will be receiving a letter advising of the itinerary change.

Itinerary Changes to 2011 7-Night Mexican Riviera Sail Dates

1/23, 1/30, 2/13, 3/13, 4/3
Sunday - Los Angeles
Monday - At Sea
Tuesday - Cabo San Lucas
Wednesday - Puerto Vallarta
Thursday - At Sea
Friday - Cabo San Lucas
Saturday - At Sea
Sunday - Los Angeles
The other dates not listed are doing back to back Cabo, that's probably where the confusion was.

We will be at Dave and Busters. 2 adults, 2 children.

Can't wait. It will make the cruise feel that much closer.

If the uncertainty on port times doesn't give you fits there is one other item to add to the mix. The day we leave is Daylight Saving time change. Clocks are moved forward one hour.:scared1:

I had not even noticed that. Well, to look at the bright side of that, we get on the ship one hour earlier! :cool1:
