Hello:
We are sailing on the Wonder on the March 13 Sailing. This is our first
Disney Cruise, we have sailed with Celebrity and Carnival before.
Can someone give me an idea of when we should expect to receive our Cruise Documents? We are travelling with Grandma this time. I did all the travel arrangments and we are meeting at the Port in LA. She is in Sacramento CA and we are in TX. I want to make sure I have enough time to FedEx her the luggage tags and anything else she may need.
I have completed all the Online Check-in forms.
Also, does anyone know if any form of Non Dairy Milk is available onboard? DD is allergic to Dairy and we use Soy products at home (Soy Milk, Soy Yogurt, Soy Cheese, and Soy IceCream). Soy, Rice, Almond, any of the substitutes will be fine, just no cow. If they do not have onboard I am assuming we can bring our own, but difficulty is refrigeration until we can put it away in the stateroom. How quickly would we be able to access at least the refrigerator in the stateroom after boarding? It will not be the end of the world if DD does not have her version or "Milk" or "Yogurt" for one week. She will be happy with the just Juice and Water.
Also, I know DD, and us parents, will have a great time on the ship. I am a little concerned about Grandma. Especially if DD chooses to spend most of her time away in the Kids only areas. Grandma is coming mainly to spend time with DD. What are the thoughts of you other GP's out there? Did you enjoy the ship even if the grandkid wasn't around? Are there quiet places to go off and read without being stuck in the stateroom. We did book 2 adjoining cabins as opposed to all sharing one, so grandma does have some quiet privacy if needed.
We did book late dining. How long do most of you find dinner takes? We are of the mind set that this is vacation it's ok to stay up a little late, but we do want everyone to be able to get up in the mornings and go ashore or enjoy breakfast or whatever the case may be.
Thank You for your help.
