March 13th 2011 Fiesta time on the Wonder!

Wow...I think the SPH rooms have been taken over by TX residents:-) We do have one too. TexasGirl, Our daughter is 10 and in 4th grade now too. She turns 11 on January 9th. Maybe when it gets closer we could meet somewhere so the girls could get to know each other before the cruise. My daughter loves that she has someone her age/grade on the cruise.

This is exactly why we normally NEVER get off in Cabo. But I figure the party crowd will not want to spend there extra drinking dollars on an ATV family tour. And with this tour allowing our girls to drive..it is a big deciding factor to get off in port This will also be our spring break. I have home schooled for the past 3 years, but Jennah will start a private Christian High School this coming August and we don't want to pull her out during school. :goodvibes

As for all the Texas people :thumbsup2 I grew up in Fort Worth, my sister was born there. Her dad was born and rasied in Euless, both his parents are buried there, and he now lives in North Richland hills and put in 35 years at Bell Helicopter. Very small world :lovestruc

All,
We have a great group of people on this cruise!!! (Oh and it doesn't hurt that there are a bunch of Texans...ha ha.) I'm also excited that my daughter Sarina, will have some friends.

Allison,

Would love to have a play date closer in. My daughter is laying here next to me and just read the post.

Rebecca,
SUCH a small world. Would you believe I grew up in Fort Worth and that I work at none other than Bell Helicopter...just like your Dad did.

Ok - this is starting to get real scary with all the connections!

It sounds like we might need to have an Arlington area meet sometime this Summer or Fall.

Did a little planning yesterday on our pre-cruise planning. We are hoping to fly into CA Friday night. Ideally we would visit Disneyland Saturday, but one day tickets are priced obnoxiously high to encourage multi-day visits. We may end up driving to Laguna and Orange County for the day as well as an excursion north to LA or Hollywood and an evening stop at Downtown Disney. Who knows - lots of time to figure all that...

:rotfl: This is sooo funny!!! I STILL get teased by family, friends and even strangers.."where is your accent from"

This has been a very busy week for us...And we are currently in the middle of getting ready for the twins birthday party::bday: tomorrow. They will turn the big 9 :woohoo::woohoo: We rented a BIG bounce house, a snow cone machine, and a cotton candy machine. We will have hot dogs, sodas, chips and pop corn. Sorta a carnival theme going on, but not really since the boys are "not babies..and 9 year olds don't have carnival parties" :rolleyes1 Soooo its a Start of Summer party :rotfl2: Well, I should get back to doing :laundy: Have a great weekend all. Big :grouphug:

Hello everyone! Well I had a most interesting week. I spent 4 nights in the hospital.

When all was said and done they figured out it was gall bladder related and had it removed. I was dismissed yesterday and am on the mend.

I'm just glad they figured out why I was so sick.

My kids have been great and DH helpful...and friends, family, church, co-workers awesome.

This is going to force me to be healthier...eating small, lowfat meals throughout the day. I'm glad it happened now, was discovered and is behind me.

Take care all!

Wow - sorry to hear you had the gall bladder issues.

Oddly enough - we are headed to the Dr. this afternoon to see if that might be what is going on with Sara - she's had some issues lately and the doctor saw her last week - but they tried acid reflux and and bladder infection meds first.

We are crossing fingers!

Happy birthday to the twins - sounds like a big party is ahead!

Hey, I'm Jennah. I'm sftnslky's daughter (: I'm just wondering if any of you have kids around my age (13, going to be 14 by the cruise) or my sibling's ages (9 year old twins, and a 11, going to be 12 by the cruise, sister) Thanks. Oh and I'm so excited, in one of the ports, we might go zip-lining! (:
Well have a good day (:

Hi everyone,

Just back from the Eastbound Transatlantic and we booked this cruise on-board. The price was great and we got so addicted to sea days that I really don't care too much about what ports we go to. Anyway, we're from Ohio and will be me (39), DH (38), DD8, DD6 (at cruise time).

:welcome: to the group. It looks like we have a fun bunch.

Hi everyone! And WELCOME to the new posters!

What a busy time! School wrapping up. Spring is here. Working on the yard, swimming lessons, etc. I can't believe it is almost Summer break. (Although no break for Mom and Dad!)

We need a cruise sooo bad. 50 days to go until our Summer cruise on Carnival Conquest (out of Galveston.)

Then I can really focus the anticipation to this March Disney Cruise!

Hope everyone is having a great May. Happy Mothers Day to the Mommys out there!

Just checking in! I'm sure everyone is busy right now. This is our last week on school in this visit. Hi everyone!

We just booked this cruise. We did the May 6th Med 10 day cruise and now we are addicted. Used DVC for the Med cruise but this will be on our own dime. Looking to follow this one up in 2012 with the L.A. to Vancouver....pirate:

BTW...We are not from Texas...Phoenix Az.

Great, another Zonie. I'm from Chandler.

Hi all! Been a long time but I'm also a fulltime student so my "free time" is very limited. Besides, when I start obsessing about our cruise, nothing else gets done! ;)

Happy Memorial Day!
