March 10 announcement?

Booking actually opened for the Dream's 2011 cruises on 11/2/09 for Gold & Platinum CC members.

The first part of 2012 was released on 10/19/10.

Thanks! When did the Dream 2011 fall rates come out for us regular folks? I know I made reservations in March of 2010 just can’t remember when they officially came out for everyone?

So it seems like all the chatter about it being the new itineraries is dying down - any TAs care to speculate on whether they think we are about to find out the remaining 2012 sailings? I am starting to get a bit pissed off with waiting for them to be honest - my money might go elsewhere if they don't hurry up.

By law, DCL can not cruise around the Hawai'in Islands with out having a port stop in a foreign country. That means a 7 night cruise would be most likely a 9 or 10. Should the AK market prove to be a real money maker, DCL may decide to repo from CA to AK via HI, about a 14 night cruise, usually taking 5 nights at sea to get to HI perhaps staying there a night or 2, then up to Canada.

I visited Disneyland a year ago and just recently received an online survey asking all questions about Hawaii, etc. I thought it was strange, but maybe they were thinking cruise???

Disney Come on and Hurry up already if not I am heading on over to see Shrek and the crew on the ALLURE OF THE SEAS, the one thing I do know now is that the Allure will be cheaper for me and my 5yr old son than the Dream Back 2 Back. I am just holding out because my son loves to get all the hugs from the pretty princessess! he may have to settle for the big green ogre:laughing:

Look at costco.com travel section. They have Disney Fantasy cruises through December 2012.

Thanks for that info!
Seems not right that Costo can get the online booking up before DCL... :rolleyes1

I am pretty sure I booked in October of 2009 for my Dec 2011 Dream cruise, and then I re-shopped onboard in late January 2010. It was either late Oct or early November - I can't find my original paperwork.

ETA: It was early November - can't find the exact day but I want to say it was the 9th. It was the first day bookings opened up for us lowly folks - I wasn't even a silver yet!

Am I understanding this correctly? Even if Disney releases the remaining dates for 2012 (we're looking to cruise the 4-night on the Dream in October), then I still won't be able to book a sailing until way later because I've never cruised with DCL before? That would really suck...

I see your a Georgia Gal as well, Thanks for the information, I booked my Dream Sept 2011 cruise in March 2010, and I got a great deal I wonder if I had booked in October 2009 if I would have gotten better! No complaints just ready to book now!

Call DCL and book the cruise that way. We were able to book Nov 2012 by doing this.

It's not WAY later... I think there was about a week's lag time...

Yep! Where in Georgia are you?

If it makes you feel better, I really don't think you would have done much better, especially since you are sailing in an off-peak, low demand time. The prices for our early Dec sailing stayed pretty much the same for almost all of 2010. When I booked our in-laws to go with us in October of 2010, there was very little increase at that point. The rooms didn't really start selling out and prices didn't really start shooting up until after the first of this year.

I could not complain if I wanted to the cruised was dirt cheap I have managed to get great cruise prices on the Wonder and the Dream, praying that I get another great deal for next year. I stay in Augusta, where in Ga. are you guys!

I was hoping when I got home from work I would see some 2012 info released:surfweb:
I was able to get a great deal on NCL Epic yesterday so I put down the deposit thinking we can cancel if Disney comes out with something over Christmas. We don't want to do the Fantasy since were doing the dream also in 2012 and are looking for something different. We have also looked into the Allure but they don't have there December 2012 available to book yet either.
since we can only travel over Christmas 2012 we don't have many options.
hoping Disney will come out with something in the US in December:surfweb:

Yeh, I feel like we did pretty good on both of ours, too - got the Kids Sail Free on the first one. We are in Macon!

I tried. The only sailings they gave me that were available were for the Fantasy. I would love to do a 7 night, but it's too much out of my price range since we also have to figure air from CA into the cost. We would actually do the Pacific cruise out of Long Beach, but the cruise doesn't come back down so we'd still have the same cost issue as the airfare one way from Vancouver to CA is the same cost as a roundtrip fare to FL. Done the Mexican Riviera cruise on Carnival a couple times, so that's not enticing enough anymore and really would like to do a Caribbean cruise.
