#Dopey2018.... just saying..... Might be a few others to join in on the chant... @FFigawi and @CheapRunnerMike
But in all seriousness.Wish you were joining us. We've got to figure out a Chicago/Milwaukee race we can both fit in our schedules so we can go crush it together!
Same here, wanted to do my last 20 miler today, but after 17 miles I was freezing like hell, so I decided to stop and took the car home.Had my last 20 miler scheduled today, but I am a big diaper baby and was too c-c-cold by mile 15 as I passed my car so I just got in and came home. I then hopped on the stationary bike for an hour with the resistance turned up, I hope that is good enough but it's going to have to be now. I'm a little ashamed because a) I never have stopped a run early before, even in ice or snow and b) folks on here were posting much worse temps yesterday. My weather was, like, 20-25F over the course of my run with "windchill" of 10-15F. But, dang it, my hat got sweaty and I was freezing! Kudos to all you in the great midwest tundra, I couldn't do it.
Ooooh a Chicago/Milwaukee race is intriguing. But only if we CRUSH IT! What's your thought on distance? (feel free to answer in my journal so I don't annoy these nice marathon people)
(I'm ignoring the Dopey 18 comment...for now)
To keep this on topic...if I signed up for the half and the castle wasn't part of it...I would cry. For real...tears.
For now... muhahahaha!
Any distance as I can run your pace for as little or as much as you want. Although if you want me to solo crush it then we'll have to look deeper into the schedules next year. We'll talk, but I think it would be fun!
I know, right? They either misspelled my name or got me mixed up with someone else, but my initials certainly aren't M E B...Where do I get my BIB? There is no number it just says ELITE!
Ok, just kiddingI am in Corral I.
I know of a local runner who paces for Clif. He paced WDW marathon last year for the 3:15 group. As far as I know he is not pacing it this year, so no more Clif pacers? They've moved onto only Galloway I think.
Chicago/Milwaukee race? I might be in for that too!Ooooh a Chicago/Milwaukee race is intriguing. But only if we CRUSH IT! What's your thought on distance? (feel free to answer in my journal so I don't annoy these nice marathon people)

Another baby in the cold here. I just did 17 on the treadmill and will do another 3 easy just because I like even numbers. I am only claiming the 17 though--I had to go get one of my kids from the bus stop or I would have done the 20 "on the mill". I am the freak who doesn't mind the treadmill, but how I hate the cold.Had my last 20 miler scheduled today, but I am a big diaper baby and was too c-c-cold by mile 15 as I passed my car so I just got in and came home. I'm seeing no mention of the Clif Bar pace team (nor do they have a booth at the expo?) Anyone seeing anything different? Disney is still not listed on the clif bar pace team website. My mom was really hoping to use them.
Nice! Mine was 2:24. Guess the cutoff was somewhere in those 4 minutes!
