Nope, I don't run with any groups...just by myself, unless I can get DH to ride along with me on his bike! Have a good trip down to FL and a great run!Leaving from Baton Rouge tomorrow morning, but stopping in Gainesville Friday night, so we wont officially be there until Saturday morning. Hope you have a safe trip! You don't by chance run with the Varsity Sports group in Baton Rouge?

Amen to this. Seems like it would make it better for everyone. Run Disney would likely sell more and it would be to the people that actually ran the races....I just had to look this morning at to what prices the EBay'ers have listed the items from the expo already. WOW.
RunDisney needs to make all of the merchandise available at racer sign up. Not just a package or 2. This would make the Expo experience so much nicer for everyone except the EBay crowd. No more stressing about the merchandise for those that are unable to get to an event a day or 2 after the expo opens.
Congrats to all the 5k participants today!

I'm not there yet so I don't know if this is true, but I saw this posted on Twitter about "costume" crackdowns:

I should start about 5:58. If you run slower than about a 14:30 pace you should hit mile 12.5 (where everest i) after the park opens.I'm excited for my first Disney Marathon on Sunday! Looks like I'm in Corral I - any estimates on when I'll actually start from that corral? I'm mostly interested in trying to estimate if I'll be in AK at the right time to ride EE! LOLThanks!

I'm in H this year but started in I last year,if I remember we started somewhere around 5:55 am,that's about 3 hours away from the ride opening and Everest is around mile marker 12.5,so you would have to be doing 13-14 minute miles to get a chance of riding it starting in I.I wasn't even close the last couple of years running by Everest around 8:20 or so.The only time I've run by it and it was just opening was during my first marathon when I started in the second to last corral around 6:15 or so.If you really want to ride it and your pace is faster than the 13-14 mm minimum you would need to go back and start in a later corral.I've been telling myself I plan to go back to the last corral one of these years to ride Everest and maybe to start dead last to see how many I can pass,I thought about doing that last year and for Sunday but I don't think I'll be doing it this year. The truth is for that first Disney full I did starting in the second to last corral was the most fun Disney full I've run it was that hot 2013 race and it just felt like all the runners were pulling for each other to complete the course in the heat and many more "runners there for the fun" than the faster middle of the pack runners in the middle corrals I've run the past couple of years.I'm excited for my first Disney Marathon on Sunday! Corral B...I'm in you!

Come say hi.
Congrats to the 5k runners!
Now the serious questions.
Any Metal Detectors?
Any real costume crackdown?
