Chuck it at any time!Regarding throw-away clothes.
Is it only allowed at the start or could I shed a sweatshirt mile 1, and chuck it on the side of the road?

Just studied this some more... I *love* that you have an estimated time for Everest... LOL.
Eleven days until taper... tick tick tick...
you can do it at any time, but please make sure it is well off the road. Clothes on the course are a tripping hazard.Regarding throw-away clothes.

My wife's favorite (eh, Can I call it that?) is mile 11.6 of the half-marathon, "THE ASCENT". According to her, when she came upon "THE ASCENT" last year she audibly cursed. LOL! Mentally, I don't think she was prepared for it.![]()
Current weather forecast for marathon weekend:
1/8/16 - Lo 56 Hi 73 Afternoon Showers
1/9/16 - Lo 56 Hi 72 Periods of Rain
1/10/16 - Lo 56 Hi 75 Partly Sunny
Please let theses temps hold!! Pleaseprettyplease. Today was horrid 84f &98% humidity. I was suppose to hit 12 m but I gave up at 6 with the rain & asthma.
I can deal with this. Last year I came from Wisconsin and wanted a little relief from the cold but didn't get it. I don't mind running in the 50s or 60s. When it gets 40 and below is a different story especially in the bitter cold we get in Wisconsin. I'm sure this will change multiple times before we get there.Current weather forecast for marathon weekend:

Current Temps are above normal for this time of year over the last several days.

I'm ready to see merch.
I wouldn't mind seeing some of the merchandise as well. I normally don't buy much when I am there but I might change that for this race, if the stuff is worth it. It is 12/15 (stating the obvious, I know) and I was running outside in shorts and a t-shirt. It was almost 60' here in MA. I only got in 5 miles, and they were a hard 5 miles. I don't get why one day things are painless and the next it feels like I am pulling my car behind me. I don't get how, before I was hurt, I was running low 8:00 miles and now I can't seem to get back under 10:00. Granted I am not pushing myself hard because this race is all about fun for me and not time, I figured I would have recovered quicker on the time. Oh well, I am just anxious to get to WDW, as I am sure everyone is.
