Mar. 13, 2010 Eastern Magic - "Caribbean Amphibians"

Where did you get the Pirate Kermit image? I tried copying from your avatar and it gives me a low resolution copy.

I just pm'd you for your email to send the image. Anyone else who wants it, let me know.

have any of our frequent travelers gotten their little brown packages yet with the excursions in them? We should be getting them soon, right?

It's been a while since I have done Disney - do they even send this stuff anymore? I know other cruise lines only have online availability of excursions and then only after you pay in full.

We received our package a couple of weeks ago. And already the indecision has set in! I was tempted by the rainforest hike, and then by a snorkelling expedition. But a trip report elsewhere on the DIS suggested they didn't really see much on the hike. So now I'm thinking that we should just max out on the fact that we're in the warmth of the Caribbean, and spend as much time in the ocean as possible.
What excursions appeal to you?

In St Maarten, my family and I are thinking of booking an ATV excursion. This is not through Disney but looks good on the St Maarten website. Anyone done this?

OK, DD17 twisted my arm and talked me into booking this cruise as a Spring Break/pre-graduation gift. She and her BFF18 at school have wanted to take a trip together for a long time, and I stepped up, made the sacrifice, and will chaperone them. As if I really needed to be talked into it... :)

As DH and I will be cruising in February, he will not be accompanying us on this one. So you will find me at the singles' table at Parrot Cay for lunch, I guess. DD has already asked if I know anyone booked for this week, so she and BFF obviously plan on ditching me at every opportunity!

I'll keep an eye out for amphibious updates...

was it a package - package or was it a letter on a single page. we got a letter on a single page, but no forms and no book of excursions like we got last time....

Hey Fellow Cruisers.....Is anyone else besides me getting excited????:cool1:Did anybody hear that the Golden Mickey show will be replaced by a Villain show starting on our cruise? I was looking forward to the GM.

Oh fun!! No, I hadn't heard that but it will be nice to see a new show. I've seen The Golden Mickeys twice now.

I'm really excited that (I imagine) we'll be able to see Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp on board, since it releases the week before our cruise ;)

I live close to Huntsville!

I grew up in Limestone county. . .
However, we've bumped this cruise until 2011! We're going on another cruise lines for spring break. . .a great deal was offered for residents of Alabama and we decided to try it!

Have a great cruise everyone!

Yay - page 10!

And yes - we're totally excited!

And oh -- don't forget to send me your info if you want to be included in the FE exchange! see the first post for info...

Yes, it was a package with a variety of pamphlets of information, including excursion info, all bound by an elastic. Didn't get any forms, though.

And just because I'm curious, what kind of numbers are we looking at for the FE?

Thanks!

hi
We got our package from our travel agent just last week. Checking out all the excursions were the first thing we did. I have to start making a list on what to do and when like registering on line, registering for excursions, etc....
not long now..

Ugh - we are having trouble finding airfare. Flights to Orlando from DFW usually cost about 250-300 dollars. Right now, they are running $500 and apparently no cheap seats coming. OUCH!

The other side of it is that only Navigator Verandah cabins seem to be available on our sailing on the DCL site. So, we booked the cruise just in time, so now the trouble is how to get to Florida!
