Mannheim Steamroller question

This December is our first trip to UO and I see that Mannheim Steamroller will be playing on one of the evenings while we are there. I have a few questions:
Do we need to have a certain type of pass to see them? (We're planning on getting the seasonal passes.)
How early do we need to arrive so we can see them?
Any recommendations on where to sit/stand to get the best experience?
Thanks ahead of time, we're getting so excited to check out UO.

According to the Universal website, seasonal passes are blocked out of the Universal Studios park on all days with a concert. You would have to get a power pass and make sure to attend before Dec 21 when the block out dates start. Any space is fine; it's just a fake grass lawn and the stage is elevated. We arrived about 20 minutes beforehand two years ago and there was plenty of space at the back. That night at least, everyone remained seated during the concert.

This is a free thing? We'll be there for 3 of their dates.

Yes it's free. We plan on upgrading my kids 4 day tickets to seasonal passes while we are there. I was told we could upgrade their tickets once we are in that park that night. (They won't make you leave once you are inside the park) Or we will upgrade the next day so there is not a conflict

We arrive Dec. 4 and leave Dec. 12. We'll have 3 opportunities to see them! I saw them about 12 years ago but my Wife never has. She's excited!

DD and I watched them last year in early December. We arrived shortly before the start of the show and were able to find space for ourselves on the lawn near the back. It was pretty packed. I'd say get there 30 minutes beforehand for better choices?

I just realized I had these guys confused with Trans Siberian Orchestra. I love TSO, these guys not so much. In fact hearing them would bring flashbacks of Christmas at an ex-girlfriend's parents house, where her mom would put the Steamroller Christmas CD on repeat and play it over and over and over.
