I was wondering if anyone has a list of the services and prices for the Mandara Spa at the Dolphin? I know someone had mentioned they might be getting an e-mail but I never saw anything further posted about it.

I would also love to read about any reviews anyone has from this spa.

Thanks!

Good luck...I think you must have to call. I visited the website and also found nothing really useful. I also signed up for a brochure through the website that I haven't gotten yet. In addition, I e-mailed them and directly asked for a list of services and prices and go absolutely no repsonse. I always prefer things in print rather than verbal over the phone but that might not be an option.

Anyone have better luck? :confused3

Anyone been there and could offer us a "sample price" of what you paid for a treatment?

Yes, you have to call to get the prices. I did it last week.

I have the price list in front of me, what are you interested in?

Blondie,

Wow, how did you get the price list? Did you call? I'm interested in the following treatments. I don't know if they vary in length but about 60 minutes is what I'm looking for.

Mandara Massage
Swedish massage
Aromatherapy Massage
Clay Body Mask

Thanks so much! :cheer2:
Tammy

I scanned in the price lists I brought back with me from our September stay. They didn't scan too good, some of the prices can't be read. For anything you need clarification on just let me know!

Blondie...you are my new favorite person! Thanks so much for the list of services and prices. Now to decide....

My pleasure Tammy, glad I could be of assistance! In the little booklet I have it describes in detail what you get with each massage, etc. If you want me to give the description on anything particular, just say the word!

Part of one of the lists got cut off so I'll type them in:

Mandara Rituals:

Sunrise Awakening (3 hrs.) $300

Nirvana (5 hrs. 30 mins.) $500

Javanese Lulur Ritual (3 hrs. 30 mins.) $400

Zen and th eARt of Golfing (3 hrs. 30 mins.) $300

Anyone know what Javanese means?

Java is a place so I assume Javanese is referring to a treatment originating from Java.

I remember reading that K-wa, thanks for adding the link for those who maybe didn't get to read it.

I didn't know Java was a place, but after doing a google, found out lots about it! :sunny:

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and called and got a brouchure e-mailed. I just wanted to let everyone know that the person I spoke with said that the prices will be going up in the near future. She did not know how much or exactly when. I was surprised to hear they were increasing after I saw how much they already were. I sure hope it is worth it because I can't wait.

I was at the Swan in October and they were not set up for the Cabana Massages yet. They were very accommodating for setting an appointment and providing information.

I just can't see paying that much money for a massage. The day spa I go to (a few times a year as a treat) is gorgeous, very upscale, and the practitioners do a wonderful job. It costs $65 for an hour of bliss. I can'tt see forking over over $100 even at WDW...unless MIckey himself was the massuese.

I guess price all depends on location. I'm in Northern Virginia just outside of DC. I found the price list higher than my local day spa (but it is a bit of a bare bones place) but not at all out of range with most of the spas in this area. It's still a splurge for us but a spa treatment is what DH is giving me for Christmas. I can't wait!!! :flower:

We have a local school of cosmetology that has students that do spa services. I pay $15.00 for a wonderful 50 minute facial. The students are fully trained and do an excellent job. Obviously you cannot compare that to an upscale spa but it does make forking out over $100 a little more difficult. DH will be at a convention all day every day so I just figured I would go ahead and fill some of that time with a little pampering. Maybe Santa will be really good to me this year
;)

I just checked the prices at one of the local spas and the prices are somewhat similar to Mandara. I always figured everything cost more at WDW!

Ambiance Day Spa and Salon.
