I have a coworker who is going to WDW in July 2006. It is her daughter's first trip, although she and hubby went for their honeymoon a few years ago. The daughter will be 6. I don't want to be an overbearing WDW psycho to her, I have offered to help and she asked my opinion on the package they are purchasing. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to help make some magic on her trip, but without being "found out". In my 14 trips, there have been a few unmagical moments, our latest trip my dad had joined us and labeled it "the worst trip ever" when talking with a CM about a couple of bad incidents. So that's why I started thinking about all the magic we have experienced and to maybe try to do something for them. Any ideas? I'm going to try to get her a list of tips for the trip, to do with heat and crowds.
Thanks for ideas...

Tell her about the sword in the stone and tinkerbell (at Tinkerbell's Treasures).
Give her daughter her own disposable camera.
Tell her to secretly get postcards signed be the characters and sent home so that her daughter will think that the characters sent her letters.
She could look for hidden mickeys.
Tell her about all of the "little things" like the ring at the Haunted Mansion and the Singing in the Rain Umbrella.
They could do some pin trading.
Make sure that you explain all of the Happiest Celebration on Earth events.
Explain fastpasses, Extra magic hours, character dining, dinner shows and child swap.
Give them a list of your favorite restaurants and foods (Dole whip!!!!! :cheer2: ).
If they are there for a birthday, tell them about the birthday pins.

Great ideas! Thank you. Anymore anyone?

I like going to www.disneyflorist.com and ordering special little treats for people and having them sent to thier resort! Just call the number and tell them the name, resort, and when they'll be there - they will take care of the rest! A couple of balloons with a note from Mickey or a small goody bag is great!

Go to the pat it forward sticky and see if someone will send a postcard from WDW to her from her favorite character.

She's also allowed to dress up as her favorite character, maybe a nice costume to take along?
