Perfect...thanks for bumping!
That sounds like buckeyes. At least that's what we call them in Ohio. They're small round peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate, and they look like a buckeye. I forget what all goes into the peanut butter, but I think at least one of the ingredients is powdered sugar.
I melt my chocolate in the crock pot, it works out great. First I do white chocolate then milk chocolate. I never have to worry about the chocolate thickening .![]()

Found this thread from last Christmas! Makes me hungry for chocolate covered pretzels.

We made some last year. One thing I found out is that if I dipped the pretzels in caramel, I had to wait until that kind of set before putting the chocolate on. I'm not sure how the peanut butter would work - I would think it would just melt off when the hot chocolate hit it. Anybody?![]()

Wow, those Wilton tree molds for the pretzels look cool! How much of the pretzel sticks out though? I wouldn't want it to just cover the top and have a whole bunch of plain pretzels sticking out.

Also, for those who drizzle colored chocolate after dipping your pretzels- how do you do this? My dd and I tried melting the chocolate and drizzling with a fork but we just got big chunks instead of pretty lines.
To die for.
Schachteles, or anyone else.
How much cream cheese to how many crushed oreos for the truffles? that sounds delicious.
