Changing Park Start

I am not sure which park to start on our final day--right now we have DL but we may want to switch to DCA. If there are openings to switch, is there a time window before park opening to change? Like 24 hours before or 1 hour or anytime as long as there are reservations open?

I assume this is for Magic Keys. Since if you have multi day tickets and don't use a reservation, you don't lose the admission and can make a new/different reservation.

You’re thinking of Disney World. Disneyland absolutely still uses the reservation system, it doesn’t matter what kind of ticket you have you have to have a reservation.

Re-read what I said. I said if you miss your reservation you don’t lose a day off your ticket and you can reserve another day.

Thank you all. I am not a Magic key holder; it is just a regular 5 day park hopper. I'm still not clear about the latest I can change park reservation.

You will want to make the modification to park selected reservation by 11:59pm the day prior. Otherwise you may have to go through the guest services process to change it day of.

Can you point to something that says this is the case for park hoppers? Everything I find says this is true for magic keys but says park hoppers can be changed up until you scan into the park.

I'm pretty sure I changed our starting park morning of, after park opened, but before we scanned in. Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but we were going to start in DL, decided we wanted to knock out 2 rides in DCA so we switched right before we walked over. This was in September.

Appears can modify any time for first park, subject to availability. I would still recommend doing it the night before, for best chance at availability.

I am pretty sure that the 11:59pm is for cancelling a park reservation for Magic Keys to not get a dig as a no-show.
