Some of the inside rooms on the Magic class ships have the door on the long side of the room. So that when you enter you enter into the middle of the room

The sideways cabins are especially great if you have someone that needs a wheelchair for distances but not all the time. If you look at the link in the above post, the space between the closet and bathroom makes a great out of the way storage spot for a wheelchair or luggage. The Cat 11 doesn't have the deluxe (split) bathroom but that worked fine for us. It's our preferred type of cabin for the room and the price. One our first cruise the "cruise meet" group did a tour of all the cabin types and everyone thought the sideways cat 11 was the winner for value for the money.
