Main St. Silhouettes

Does anyone know if you are able to give the person making the silhouette a side view picture of a person if they can make a silhouette based on the picture. I ask because I was wanting to get one for my niece who won't be going on the trip.

I believe they can work from a picture but I've never tried it myself. They are fantastic though!

OHH I know, they do such fantastic work!! My mom had ours made (we were much older than 2 months though!). I am wanting to have my two year olds done when we go again, and thought of doing one for my niece.

I believe it's $12.95 for the silhouette (you get 2 copies) and $12 for the oval frame.

I had this done of my grandchildren in Disneyland last month as a surprise for their mother. My son-in-law took side pictures of them on his phone and messaged them to us. The artist worked off looking at the phone. We had a double one done of them. Turned out great! Price was $10 for 2 copies. They cut 2 at the same time, so one is reverse of the other. Frames were $18.

We stopped after the electric parade and I hesitated because my son was sooo tired, but it didn't take very long at all. About 5 minutes if I remember correctly. He just cut freehand. Great price and it was our favorite souvenir of the trip

You should be fine just stand in front of her and chat and point out things she can see without moving much. It really doesn't take very long.

Good info, my parents still have mine and my brother's hanging up from when we were kids in 1984, and I'd love to get my boys if we get a chance. Good to know they are quick!

They are super fast! The line to get a seating is the long part, if there is a wait at all. They have gotten a good version of my son when he was barely a year old!

Have fun and don't forget to tip them. As if I remember correctly, they are independent contractors for Disney

We brought a side photo of my dog last year and a young man that was doing these in EPCOT did a wonderful one for us , just make sure that you have a photo from each side because it depends on what handed the artist is. It just makes it a lot easier for them. I did have a man that was doing them at Disney Springs tell me he couldn't do it from a photo and wasn't doing any pets. He was down right rude and nasty about it. So much so that I was a little afraid to ask at EPCOT but he was wonderful and happy to do it. He received a heart felt thank you and a large tip! The picture hangs on our wall along with the rest of the family that we have had done over the years. Just love these.
