MagicMobile and teens

This is our first trip in a while and new to MagicMobile. Famly is me, DH, DS16, and DD13. I do almost all of the planning and we will usually be together, but there may be times that DS joins us later (he has some midterms to study for) or goes off on his own. In setting up MagicMobile it asks if I want to create passes for others. If I create one for DH and the kids, will I always need to be with them or can I share a copy of the pass with them? They all have their own phones but don't have MDE accounts set up and I'd rather not go there.
