well, my trip-( hi Sea!!) ---- um-- it's next year and a long time to wait!

Drew asked Mark if we could go and what started out as an "okay, sure bud." has changed already in the last two weeks from an October/MNSSHP/stay at a mod- probably POFQ but perhaps CSR-- trip into a Labor Day week, switch from a mod to the Poly to the GF. And I'm sure it isn't the last of the changes we will make.

Nothing has been booked yet. I'm afraid to book it b/c we keep changing our minds.
Mark is set on the GF, I keep wavering back and forth about staying at the POLY again. (Gotta be able to get those Dole whips easily, you know.)Also trying to decide still if I want the DDP or not.

So That's all that we know. Oh yeah and we'll be going to Florida's opening football game- and since we are on a losing streak right now, I'm sure the tix will be cheap!

I'm so jealous! Those tops are so cute! You really need to open a Kohl's charge account. They will send you coupons in the mail for 15, 20, or 30% off. Think of all the money you can save!

Do you plan to wear shorts, or capris, or jeans? Will you check the weather a few days before you leave, or do you just know that it will be warm enough for shorts?

I think with all your cute new clothes and shoes, you will most definitely be the best-dressed in WDW!

Maybe I should get a Kohl's charge!! Actually I haven't been there in awhile. I did some shopping there this summer and then decided it would be best to stay away from the place and save money for the trip!!!

I will likely wear shorts most days. Capri's some evenings. And I will take a pair of jeans just in-case, but hope to not have to use them!

Well, here we are 2 Weeks and 3 Days from our trip and we are making changes to our plans!!!

It's good changes though, so it's okay!

When we booked all those months ago we were pretty decided on going to MVMCP. Then we started to have our doubts - is it worth the money, will it be too crowded, is there much to do & see that we can't see at the MK on any given day in November, etc. So we decided against in. A few months later I found myself looking on the Disney website and reading about it again and kind of wanting to go. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/pa...al-events/mickeys-very-merry-christmas-party/ I had the tickets in my 'cart' online. But then decided to wait. A few months later I decided that our late Saturday night flight home was bothering me, so we added another night and are now coming home on Sunday. Well, that sealed the fate of MVMCP because I had just spent the extra money on an extra night at the BWI. And I was okay with that. Until just this past week when I started thinking about the party again. I even mentioned it to DH this weekend. He of course said - if you want to go just buy the tickets. (Keep in mind that he probably doesn't realize just how much more the BWI costs compared to the moderates we usually stay at). I was still thinking about it when my very good DIS friend Sheila PM'd me to say that unfortunately they had to reschedule their November trip for next year. AND - she wanted to know if I wanted her MVMCP tickets!! Well, that was the sign I needed and now we are going!!!!! Her 2 tickets are on their way and I will need to order 2 more, but I checked online and they are still available!

So needless to say, some things needed changed around. But, I was able to change things fairly easily and got the new ADR's I needed with no problem!

DH and I are very excited, and have decided to not tell the kids until the day of the party!!!!!!!!!


We are looking forward to seeing MK all decorated up again! And looking very forward to all the new experiences we will have at the party! Thank you Sheila!

The boys will be thrilled. Hopefully I can keep my mouth shut about it for a few more weeks. Shouldn't be near as hard as keeping that entire trip from them was.

I hope you get to WDW to see the Christmas decorations sometime too! I would love the spend Christmas there, but the crowds would ruin it I'm sure. Maybe someday when the kids are a bit older we could just go and take it easy and not plan on trying to do everything and just enjoy being there on Christmas.

The parks are beautiful decorated for Christmas. Especially when there aren't 98 bazillion people enjoying them at the same time as you.

Rumor has it that they only sell a maximum of 25,000 tix for every party. That's nothing at all!!!

It will be so much fun to surprise the kids the day of the party. They are going to be shocked!
