Magicians & Jugglers & a Clown Slide, OH MY! We're going to the BWI... A Nov 2010 PTR

Okay, I could be going Banana Crazy, but I think the London Banana Dancers gypped me by one!!! :confused3

Anyone else only counting 16???

:lmao:

Those crazy Bananas!! They ran off too fast and left one behind.

Yep, I think you're right! Naner17 peeled out right before going on stage.

I heard those groans! ;)

I somehow missed reading your PTR on Monday and Tuesday had a lot of pages to catch up on. Your shirts are so cute. I saw the first shoe pic and thought oh she decided on only taking two pairs then scrolled and saw two more pair  You are so brave compared to me I have never worn open toed shoes in the parks, I have been stepped on and rolled over in my sneakers and I am too skeered :scared1: I might loose a toe or two :rotfl:

I bought one of those WDW bags when I was there last year and also a coverlet with the castle on it, Disney sure knows how to get you to spend an extra $10 or in my case last year $20. :rotfl:

Shelly You are so very welcome for the MVMCP tickets, I feel so much better knowing you will be using them rather than letting them sit and go to waste. I think it is a wonderful idea that you are going to surprise your DS's, you have to try to capture that pic of them finding out they are going to the party for us here. It gets harder and harder to surprise kids as they get older but I think you should be able to pull this one off.

And.................I counted and Yes there were only 16 Banana dudes

oh oh hold on here he is now  :rotfl2:

Sheila, I thought the same thing when I saw the 2 pairs of shoes! We should have known better. ;)

I'm glad to know who the nice person was that gave their MVMCP tickets to Shelly! I know you will have a wonderful trip next year!! :goodvibes

Two pairs of shoes!! :lmao: Yeah, right. I am leaning towards 6 a the moment. :faint:

Yes, you certainly have to watch out for those scooters with open toed shoes! :scared1:

I will try to capture the surprise in pictures or maybe even a little video!! :goodvibes They have no idea as of right now!! So as long as they don't overhear DH and I talking about it we should be good. And generally they don't listen when we are speaking directly to them, so chances are pretty slim that they will hear us talking about it! :rotfl:

I'm glad you found that missing Banana Dude. I was starting to get worried.

:rotfl2:

I know right, how could a shoe person ever go with only 2 pair ..... I am excited about planning another vacation and I think it will be wonderful too :)

Six Pairs, count them Six ! If you have the room you better do it or else you might be in Disney wishing you had brought them. How silly of us to think you were taking only 2 pair :rotfl:

A video of you telling DS's about the MVMCP will be awesome!

*You'll have to excuse that 'Naner dude from yesterday who was a no-show. I did tell you that if you've ever been to El Squid Roe, you'd understand....
well, he got caught up in the Conga Line debauchery that is, well, um..... yeah. And, well, the rest is history. ;)

PS--- Lest you think bad of me, let me explain myself-- I HAVE been to Squid Roe. I HAVE seen the Conga Line. And NO- I did not participate. I merely looked upon the, um, proceedings.....
from a cage.:scared1::lmao::lmao:

PSS-- Have you ever had a bar tab that was $2,000 in one night????????????
Yeah, um, I was part of THAT party.
NOW you know what the bananas were up against. You're lucky they showed at all. :) They are happy for the held over event that is LONDON! :)
:rolleyes1

Hey Shelly!!! I am all caught up now! Have been MIA here for a few days...lots going on here! And sad to say...not Disney related---only real world stuff!! LOL...whew...I need a vacation! We are soooo busy!!! I am so excited for you to do the MVMCP!!! We are going...I told the kids I wasn't sure...I am waiting for the weather..but what I really wasn't sure about what was night!!! I love the Party! It's just.....magical!!!!I do need to get a few new shirts...havent had time to look for anything!!Maybe tomorrow!! We are sooooo close!!! And Jo...you have done an outstanding job tending to those crazy Naners!

Let's talk about souvenirs!! :cool1:

Here's my stash from last year~

DisneyNovember20091176.jpg

And my wreath~

Christmas2009006-4.jpg

I have a few things in mind that I would like to get on this trip.

I have a little Disney snowglobe collection and I need a few more to complete it! I have a big one with the castle in it and it says Walt Disney World on the base on the front. Then I have 2 smaller ones – one from MK and one from DHS. This year I hope to pick up a small Epcot snowglobe!

Here is the DHS Snowglobe I got last year~

DisneyNovember2009974.jpg

DisneyNovember2009975.jpg

Last year on our last day I had decided I was going to get one more thing. I almost got this shirt, but eventually decided on the Four Parks One World CD instead.

DisneyNovember20091097.jpg

Maybe I'll get the shirt this time if they still have it!

I also want to get this Mickey soccer ball ornament~

DisneyNovember2009217.jpg

And I will pick up a 2011 WDW Calendar! And probably some more Minnie's Bakeshop sprinkles!! I'd also like to get the boys new WDW shirts. I'm sure it will be hard to find something that DS11 will wear though! They have their own spending money for the trip (although they would never spend it on clothes!!). They start a WDW savings as for the next trip as soon as we get home from the last one! They save from birthdays, holidays, allowances, etc. I'm sure DS9 will buy lots of Star Wars toys and anything else he can find. Not sure what DS11 will come up with this year. It's hard to tell what DH will come up with too! I'm sure he'll find a few things he can't live without!!

Six Pairs, count them Six ! If you have the room you better do it or else you might be in Disney wishing you had brought them. How silly of us to think you were taking only 2 pair :rotfl:

Yes, it will all depend on how much room I end up with. And it's not like I'll definitely wear them all. I just like to have the option to if I want!! :rotfl:

A video of you telling DS's about the MVMCP will be awesome!

I'll see what I can do!! :thumbsup2

Hey Shawna! I wondered where you have been. You and about a dozen of my other PTR readers. :confused3 Don't you just hate it when life gets in the way of DISing?!

We need this vacation too! Just so much going on. DH is working a ton of hours. I am working a lot, plus PTO, soccer, and a bunch of other endless running around. :faint:

Have fun if you decide to go shopping for new shirts!! :cool1:

Yes, JO has quite the job tending to those wild Naners!:lmao:

Jo - I saw the Squid Roe when we were in Cabo two years ago. You were caged up there? :lmao: Some bar tab - hope it was covered by somebody else! :rotfl2:

I know I said it last year but I'll say it again...I LOVE that Mickey wreath!!!!

As far as Jo and her 'Naner dudes- I sure hope they are behaving for her today and there's no 'Naner shenanigans going on. Wouldn't want to see those fellers getting mixed up with the wrong crowd and find themselves sliced on a piece of bread alongside warm PB or something. :scared1:

yay, souvenirs!!:goodvibes

that word always looks so weird to me. I always spell it wrong- but that's nothing new. There's a reason Drs and Nurses have horrific handwriting....:rolleyes1

I just love that shirt that you almost got last yr! I didn't see that on my May trip? I hope they still have it. I'm sure they do- I got the coffee mug with main Street USA on it with Walt and MM. The funny thing is that it says on the Bottom of the pic- "Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World" and it isn't--- it's Disneyland. Sleeping Beauty castle is at the end of Main Street and everything. Plus- Walt was never in the MK once it was finished. So IDK who did the mug- but it was wrong!:rotfl:

You got great stuff last trip! I do like to always have the sprinkles too. What is that red thingy that had MM's head on it? Is it for toast? That's neat!

how did you get your wreath home--? and good night-- the snowglobes?? you are an excellent packer!!! Everything I get always gets crushed.:rolleyes1 Yes, I do throw it all in the suitcase at the last minute. How'd you know???

I hate to leave so it just gets tossed in.

My kids love saving $$ too for vacation. Drew just cashed all of his money in for an I-Touch and now he says he's gonna save for the vacation next yr.

His goal is $500. He'll probably hit it too- the kid can pinch a penny till it stands up and slaps you.

I hope your boys get good stuff--- I bet you'll come home with Legos!!!:3dglasses

ps----- Sea-- Did you go inside Squid Roe? I saw things there that I wish I'd had a bottle of bleach for my brain.

The tab? :rolleyes1:rolleyes1 Let's just say it was a Going Away Party given to Mark by his coworkers from his old job.;)

Thanks Kim! :goodvibes I love the wreath too. I actually had it hanging outside for a few days last year, but I cound't stop worrying about it out there and had to bring it in. :rotfl:

 I always spell souvenirs wrong too!! My spell check always has to correct it. It just looks like there should be another e in there somewhere or something. :confused3

I hope I can find that shirt this year! I only saw it in MK and it was our last full day. It was in one of those shops on the left side of main street, I don't remember which one, but I have an idea of about where it was. . .

Yep, that red thing is a toast press. Imprints a Mickey head on the bread before you put it in the toaster. It works okay, but not great.

I get the fragile stuff home by putting it in the middle of the dirty clothes bag! I stuff it right in the middle of that huge pile of clothes and hope for the best!

$500!! :scared1: Wow! What does he plan on buying? The kids used to take about $200 each and we would end up standing in the toy store in DTD for hours trying to spend it all. :faint: I now encourage them to only bring around $100 or less each!

Cool souvenirs Shelly! I bet those cookies didn't last long. ;) You should get that t-shirt of Walt and Mickey, it is cool, I saw them a couple of weeks ago at MK on MS. I hope you find some more cool stuff on this next trip. :cool1:

I love your snowglobe collection. I wish I could pick one thing to pick up each trip and start a collection. I usually end up getting a new mug. I guess you could say I collect mugs. Not very fun though.

I love that shirt you are thinking of getting. I saw it in May and thought it was really cute.

I really want a wreath like yours. Did you get it at the xmas place? I'll have to check that out next time.

Jo - that is the magic of Photoshop. Walt can be anywhere! :lmao: I know a few DL purists out there who would go ape wild over that shirt, LOL. To me, Walt had a vision and plans for MK and EPCOT many years before his passing. The shirt gives the impression of Walt's dream of the future for his parks and resorts.

This is where they got the picture of Walt for the shirt...
Disney_land.JPG

Bleach? I won't ask anymore questions. :lmao:

We didn't go inside of SR, it was closed. We were in Cabo only for 5 hours in the morning time that day so we just hanged around the harbor area and the mall, then headed back to the ship.

Sea

I think I will get that shirt if I can find it and they have my size! :wizard:

Thank you! :goodvibes

I got the wreath in DTD at the World of Disney Store. I don't know if they have them there year around or if it was just because we were there shortly before Christmas. . .

DisneyNovember2009218.jpg

The Christmas store might have them too, I'm not sure.

I really like the Soccer Mickey Head Ornament, any ideas on what store to find it in??

It was at the World of Disney too! It was pretty expensive if I remember correctly. . . I mean, for one ornament. I can't remember the exact price. But as soon as we got home I wished I had bought it!
