I just purchased yesterday, but we have a pending charge on our card.

FYI - we never received email confirmation for any of our magic band purchases for resort stays, so I don't think that's too concerning.

Ordered via the resort pre-arrival on the morning MB+ launched and had a pending charge (and saw it as recently as yesterday) but the pending charge has also dropped off as of this morning, order still processing

What concerns me is the pending charge has dropped off my card completely... it is no longer pending and was not charged, yet my order in MDE still showing that it is in process.

Same here. I’m happy it doesn’t say Canceled. There’s nothing to do but wait.

I spoke with a CM via chat. They said the order has gone through and that if we don't hear anything within 11 days of our arrival date, to get back in touch. It will probably be charged once shipped even though there's no pending charge.

I'm guessing with the ones that were there and then fell off, that because it didn't confirm within a certain number of days, it was considered no longer pending, but will show back up once they are shipped.

We were told that if our MBs didn't show up before we left for WDW (we tow a TT cross country so leave about 7-10 days before check in) that we would be given grey 'generic' MBs upon arrival.

Bear in mind this was when MBs were 'included' and you completed your MB selection but the bands weren't shipped out until closer to your arrival date.They told us then that MBs were shipped about 10 days to 2 weeks before our arrival date. That would have been cutting it VERY fine and we didn't want to take that chance ! We opted for 'resort delivery' and our selected MB2s were waiting for us when we checked in.

So I ordered at 0115 am on the 27th but the order didn’t go through but my card was charged. (Pending charge). I tried again with my Disney visa. That card had a pending charge until today when it dropped off. I replied to my confirmation email about the pending charge on both cards and they replied that it would fall off the card I used on my first order attempt. Funny that the wrong one did lol. I should have asked when they thought it would ship.

I still have a processing order and arrive at Disney on the 12th. Pending charges are all off my cards. I replied to my confirmation email asking if they could ship to my resort instead of my home since they probably won’t make it before my trip and they replied back saying they can’t make any changes and that they are processed and filled by shop Disney. So I guess I am out of luck if they don’t arrive. May end up having to buy one in the park for my teen so we have one to use on the trip. Disappointing but I knew it was a risk with everyone buying at the same time even if their trips were farther away. Can’t blame anyone for that as I would have done it too. I know our magic bands took 2 full weeks to arrive in the past and shipped much quicker than this is happening.

funny that I Placed the order as soon as went live last week (5AM 27th), and I still have a pending charge on my card. Usually pending charges disappears within 2-3 days tops, but mine has not

Yeah my magic bands have never come how shop Disney stuff usually does but her reply said it was being processed by shop Disney. So just for kicks and giggles I emailed shop Disney to see what they say (I am guessing they can’t do anything either but at least I will have exhausted all my options). Her reply did say shopDisney.com

'Before' when MB were complimentary it was all handled 'within' MDE and bands were shipped based on our arrival dates. Now that they're NOT complimentary we order via MDE but processing is done by ShopDisney.

I jumped the gun and ordered MB2s via MDE when I booked this past June for our 2023 trip (what WAS I thinking!!!). I wanted to cancel them and I ended up being transferred from Hotel Guest Relations to Internet Help to ShopDisney. ShopDisney confirmed that they were 'in charge' of MBs now, even if ordered thru MDE. They wouldn't cancel my order though and I ended up getting the 2 MB2s. Thank God I just got MDE reset so I can order MB+ when it gets closer to our arrival date.

Also placed on order for 2 MagicBand+ bands with an August 6 arrival on launch day. Guest services told me that they will most likely not arrive before Saturday. Guest services also could not change the shipping address to my resort. ShopDisney should have prioritized guests with upcoming arrival dates rather than making the launch an absolute free for all. Oh well. My credit card still hasn’t gotten charged.

I feel very mixed about MagicBand+. At this point, they seem very gimmicky. I don't need flashing lights on my wrist during a fireworks show, and waving it at a statue to make it talk is "meh". Admittedly, the bounty hunter thing has potential, but it's just not there yet for me.

I feel the same, but after reading that the regular magic bands may not be detected for photos/etc after a couple years, I was thinking the fact this one can be charged might solve that issue? I could be completely off base on that, I have no idea.

If I knew we wouldn’t get them in time for the trip I would have just bought them when we got there. $100 is a lot of money to waste. Do you think Disney will compensate people who don’t get them in time?
