Magical Gathering Question

Can anyone tell me about the International Dinner and IllumiNations Dessert Reception? I read somewhere that I could book it with the dining plan, but it would be 2 table credits...is this true. Also, can anyone tell me more about it? Is dinner at a certain restaurant, dessert cruise...any info is great!! Thanks!

Man, I really wish we had a place dedicated to talking about all of the aspects of Magical Gatherings... Sorry I'm no help yet...

I have not been yet, but we have it booked in a few weeks for our Grand Gathering. Here is what I think I know:

1. It does use 2 Table Service credits for each person, and we did book it using the Dining Plan.

2. It is served at the Odyssey restaurant in Epcot, located between Test Track and the Mexico pavillion.

3. They serve food from some of the different country's restaurants in a buffet.

4. Then you get special reserved seats (I think there are seats) and a dessert buffet to watch Illuminations.

I am excited to try it -- I will let you know more after I go!

I was told when booking our GG last year that all GG events-except The Fireworks Cruise-can be booked using 2 credits from the DDP. I would call a GG specialist to get the info as there are lots of changes in the DPs for 2008!
Not to get off topic, but I have a quick question. Is The Odyssey restaurant in Epcot only open to Grand Gatherings?

I heard that Tony's Welcome breakfast or whatever is one credit.
