Does anyone know (approximately) how long it takes to arrive at POP once we are on the bus from the airport? We are arriving this Sunday (YEA!!) at about 10:30. Thanks guys!

Average time to get from MCO to a WDW resort on Magical Express is about 70 minutes.

The average travel time to the resorts on DME is about 70 minutes from deplaning to your resort.

Now having said that, because POP is the first resort you come to after exiting 417, it is most often the first stop. (This is not guaranteed, however).

once the bus left the terminal, we were at pop in about 50 mins. it might have been slightly earlier, but i the standard canned response is always 70-90 on these boards.

Last year my plane arrived at 11:55 and I arrived at Pop at 1:10. Only waited 2 minutes at the counter ( I had not recieved my DME package beforehand) and another 5 before loading the bus, so I was at MCO for maybe 20 minutes from the time I got off the plane to when we pulled away. They made one stop at CBR first where 4 Families got off. Disney says to allow 1&1/2 to 2 hours between airport arrival and Resort when using DME.

I've had times to POP, from MCO, riding DME of 50 mins and longer at 90. That 90 was due to POP being the last of three stops...very unusual...and a ton of people at those first two stops having a ton of checked baggage with them, under the bus. When you bring checked bags with you to the bus, it holds everyone up. Those bags have to be taken out, and handed off to each guest at their particular resort. And the driver makes it take as long as he humanly can so he gets as many tips as he can. If he just put it all out there, for everyone to just grab, he wouldn't get nearly as many tips.
It took us nearly 10 mins at each of those two resorts...drove me nuts.
But, usually, POP is the first resort.
