Does every kid that rides Magical Express get a Disney figurine?

I have never heard of anyone riding Magical Express to get a figurine.

Back in the first year there was a coupon for a pin and lanyard (one per group), but that's it.

Well I only asked because the kids got one. Perhaps they got a "wish granted". When we went up to the counter the lady asked my daughter who her fave character was and she said Minnie Mouse and the lady looked at another lady and said "That was the magic word" and she handed her, my nephew and our friends daughter a figurine of their choice. And I wasn't sure if it's something that Magical Express always does or not.
