One last question. Once we check out, is there a certain time DME will pick you up? Certain amount of hours before?

they'll pick you up approximately 3 hours before your flight time (4 hours for international flights; a later pickup is non-negotiable). The time they will give you is the time the bus is scheduled to leave your resort, not arrive at it, so you should be at the pickup point with your entire party and all the luggage you intend to take with you, ready to board the bus, at least 10-15 minutes before the time they give you.

I did see a group get left behind once because they didn't have the entire party present and the driver had been delayed at the previous stops waiting for people who weren't present, he said he would be penalized if he ran any further behind schedule and he could not wait for them to get it together.
