Magical Express and carry on bag question

Hi,

I apologize if this question has already been addressed in a previous thread...

My DH, DD, and I will be using ME for our upcoming trip in a week and a half . Our flight is scheduled to arrive at MCO at 1pm. After checking into Pop, we were going to head on over to the MK for the rest of the day.

Here are my questions...

1. If our room isn't ready, can we stash our carry on bags with luggage service?

2. How secure is it to store our bags with luggage service? We really won't be leaving anything valuable with luggage service, but our travel documents would be in our carry on. Do you think that it would be safer to bring one bag with the "valueables" to the park and rent a locker for it?

You can store your luggage at the resort.

If you are worried about your travel documents, carry them with you to the park or put a lock on your luggage when you store it. If you have cash, jewelry, electronics or other valuable items, bring them with you to the park, or see if the resort has a safe. I used a front desk safe at the Beach Club once.

I checked a bag at WL my last trip since my room wasn't ready. I came back 2 hours later and it was still sitting outside about 10 ft back from the luggage desk. Anyone could have taken it and rolled off with it without anyone looking. This was my only disappointment with WL, but I was shocked that they don't immediatley take the luggage into a back room area. Lots of other luggage was sitting there also so if you have valuables, don't just leave them in your suitcase.
