When the magical express bus takes you to the airport where is the drop off? Is it a central location like ground transportation, or is it in front of the airline terminal you are flying? Thank you.

They pick up and drop off at the same spot... ground transportation.

The ME coach will make two stops, one on the A side and one on the B side. The driver will announce which airlines go out of each side. Luggage carts and assistance are available where you are dropped off.

If you use Resort Airline Checking (RAC), you really won't have much to worry about, just your carryon bags.

This has not been our experience for our last two trips (November 2015 and February 2016). There was one drop off location for all airlines.

On Sunday there was just one drop off location, it was the B side Ground Transportation (same place we got on).

Interesting. We haven't flown in a few years. We drove in the summer of 2014. I wonder if that was done as a cost-cutting measure.

One stop, B Side, same place you got on to go to WDW.

They haven't had two drop off points in years. Tough for those folks on Southwest, Virgin, or American who have to transfer to the other terminal.

Not really. The MCO terminal is one big room with Sides A and B

The Magical Express no longer stops on both A and B side. It now only stops at side B. You'll need to take the airline's tram/monorail to side A if that's where your gate is.

Some of the most popular airlines, flying into MCO, are located on Side A. Jetblue is over there as well...it really isn't all that awful. Yes, it means having to cross the main terminal, but that's about 60 steps!

It doesn't matter which side you arrive on..you still have to take the tram to your gate area.

It isn't a big deal...truly. As I stated above, it means that you have to cross over the main terminal area, same as upon arrival, to get to Side A. It's just not a big deal. It can be a big deal if you arrive on Side A, have to get checked bags and then go to DME!!!

If you don't need to stop at the ticket/checkin counter then going from either the A side or the B side to security/trams is like going from the side grandstand to a goal post of a football stadium

Now, if the Magical Express dropoff is not exactly centered (think: you enter a stadium not at the 50 yard line) then one security station will of course be further away then the other.

Each security station handles half of the A side and half of the B side.

Back when DME had dropoffs on both sides, many guests could get to security more quickly by getting off at the first stop as opposed to "their side" but had to go to "their side" to get their bags back from under the bus.
