I am looking for information on the Magic's Navigator Verandahs on Deck 7. Specifically the true verandah rooms. I am familiar with the secret verandah rooms 7120 and 7620, also the ones on Deck 6. I would like to know from people who have stayed in the true Navigator Verandah rooms, do you get the ocean breeze and how much darker is the room due to only having the round porthole? Is the porthole large enough for two people to stand and see out at the same time? Also is the bench comfortable?

The DCL nerd in me has been fascinated by this room type since I first heard of it. We finally have one booked on cruise #7 next year. I'd be interested to hear as well. Wondering how much sunlight you get in your room, meaning if it's a lot like the regular verandah rooms. Love a sunshine-filled room at sea!

I was wondering the same thing, came across this video

We had already booked a white wall verandah

Whoa! Those are some seriously tight quarters! I'm really surprised! My goodness, we have only ever sailed in a Family Deluxe verandah room. Thank you for this! At least now I'm forewarned... also about the size of the porthole, looks a lot smaller than on the Wonder. Our family of 5 has grown (taller) so from now on we've been booking two rooms, so at max 3 will be in this category, but still... hmmmm....

Navigators verandahs on all the ships are what I affectionately call "love nests". They're perfect for 2 people. Tight for 3.

Thanks for the replies. I have seen all the videos and read all the room reports I could find. We always book verandahs or family verandahs, but this time, just the two of us we are considering the navigator verandah. We do spend time on the verandah so my main concerns are the ocean breeze and how much light you get from having just the open porthole.

You're not kidding! We have a "Navigators Verandah" booked on an upcoming cruise on the Dream, but that's just a regular verandah room with a bit of an obstruction. The sq ft on that one is the same as a regular verandah room on Dream, which is even smaller than this room. Yikes! We also booked adjoining standard inside staterooms since there are 5 of us along with these but looks like we're going to have some getting used to!

We had a 7a an the Fantasy. Room 5688. A fabulous room above the Dumbo figure on the back. That only fit 2 of us comfortably. Perfect for a honeymoon.
