Magic May 31, 2014 A Magical Voyage Around the Mediterranean

Hi everybody!
I wanted to know, what do you intend to see once in Barcelona? I don't know this place at all so I would be glad and thankfull for any advises! Hank you so much!

My dad was there last month after a Mediterranean cruise, and he told me to take the hop on hop off and go to the Sagrada Familia and to Parc Guel. I have l also want to see the Barcelona soccer team stadium . Actually my list is very long.

Thank you linetbo, how long do you plan to stay in barcelona? I was planning to stay three days and I think we will go to Sagrada familia and parc Guel too.

Portaventura is about one hour south of Barcelona.

So we're thinking of renting a car on Saturday and drive to PA. Spend Saturday, Sunday at PA and drive back to the airport and fly home on Monday. Kids are due back at school on Tuesday.

Ok, nice. We are going to Paris for 3 days, and I want to surprise my daughter with a day in Disneyland Paris. I told her that we can't go because this trip is to expensive and we can't go. She was sad but she understood. I can wait to see her face.

Thank you linetbo and fitness mouse :)
I've been to Port Adventura once, not as good as Disneyland Paris but really cool with familly or friends.
Linetbo, I'm sure your daughter will be in heaven! :)

We spent 3 nights post cruise when we did the EBTA last time. Some of our favorites were Sagrada, Camp Nou, taking train to Montserrat, Las Ramblas, Chocolate Museum (your ticket is a chocolate bar), we also did the aquarium. We walked a lot and loved our time in Barcelona.

Just booked our flights! I realised that both weekends of our cruise are holiday weekends, so flights are probably not going to get much cheaper.
And we wanted certain flight times (i know they can still change).

So. Kids have a half day of school on Wednesday, then off to the airport.
Getting to Barcelona in the evening so we have two whole days for touring Barcelona:thumbsup2

Flying back monday evening after the cruise.

Now deciding on what we really want to see in Barcelona:cool1:

How long is your fly?

Hi, do you know if the Magic has character breakfast or the tea with alice or the princess?

How is everybody doing? We are so quiet!!! Who's doing DCL excursion? I still planning mine. The only one I still haven't decided is Naples, I don't want to see Pompeii so I maybe need someone advice.

Hi everybody!
Linetbo, I don't know about the Tea with Alice, but last year, my best friend did this cruise and there wasn't the character's breakfast.
And for the excursions, I think I'll do the DCL ones. I just don't know which! :rotfl:
About Naples, I've always heard that Capri is truly beautiful.
Or the Treasures of Naples tour seems pretty good too.

And did you know what you want to do in Rome?I like The Best of Rome the only thing I don't like is the price. For France the Ezze Monaco and Monte Carlo. And for Pisa maybe the one that include Florence.

We're still very much in the planning stages. Since it's DS's college graduation present, we're mostly leaving what we do up to him.

Except for Rome and Naples, we're going to just walk around each city on our own.

In Rome, DS wants to see mostly ancient Rome, so we may take a private tour and then spend a few hours on our own.

For Naples, we plan to see Pompeii and may work in Capri.

I am super happy to say that we have our Rome excursion booked!! Private tour and I'm super stoked!!! We can take up to 8 more people on the tour with us if anyone is interested? I have posted the price breakdown previously.

I think for the others we are going to do DCL tours, going to go to Monaco and see the museum for DS. In Naples we decided we are NOT hiking but we will go see Pompeii... I think the first day we will do a 1/2 day tour so we can keep those costs down and if we want to stay out and about when the tour is over we can putz around town on our own.

If anyone is interested in the Rome tour, let me know :)
