I am leaving in 4 days for my vacation, and today I find out that the EMH hours for Magic Kingdom have been changed.

Originally Magic Kingdom was suppose to have it's early morning on Friday. Now the early morning is on Wednesday and its late nights are Monday and Friday.

This means, that I now have to redo my entire schedule. Thank goodness, it does not mess up any of my PS's.

Anyone going to WDW for the summer, should recheck the EMH schedule. It has changed for Magic Kingdom. If you have any priority seatings made, they might be effected.

I need to get busy changing my itinerary.

Thanks, I sent this once, but it did not seem to go through, so here we go again.

yeah the new hours are stinky for some one like me who is getting in on monday and won't be able to use the eving hour that day and is leaving friday and was depending on having an extra hour in the morning... besides i already have a tour scheduled for wednesday morning since i figured we would hvae more than enough time in the MK that evening.

I'm not sure how recent this change is. I notice the Wed. EMH on the offical site several weeks ago. You are right it is always good to look back at your park hours to make sure nothing has changed.

It changed a few weeks ago, if I remember correctly. I had breakfast at CP booked for 10:10, figuring I could do EMH at Mk that day, then eat breakfast and head to a different park after that. I also had lunch at LTT for the day they were supposed to have EMH in the evening. But, I was able to switch my PS (ADR) around to fit the new EMH evening at MK.

I do not know exactly when this change when into effect. I have had my itinerary set for months. If this hadn't been brought to my attention this morning with that e-mail, from allearsnet, I would have really been messed up, when I arrived in WDW in 4 days.

Well, now thank goodness, I can rework my schedule. I have begun to rework it already, and it actually might be better. Just have to move a few things around.

Just wanted to give the headsup to anyone who did not know about the change.

Wish each day of the week, offered an early morning at a park, like the old schedule, before they added the late nights. Leave it to Disney to cause this last minute commotion. Did notice longer hours at Magic Kingdom, and 2 nightime parades on most nights.

Well, back to my schedule. :wave2:

This website has all the correct information. You can also go to the official Disney World Website. I personally received the updated information from allearsnet. If you do a search for allearsnet.com and check park hours and extra magic hours, it will give you all the info you need.

Yeah, I noticed the change a few weeks back. I had to change around some ARs and stuff too. Actually, the day I noticed it and called to change AR's the CM didn't even know about the change yet, and had to check her computer to see that what I was telling her was correct. I have been checking the hours on the official Disney site daily to make sure there have been no more last min. changes!

Do you think these changes are temporary (Deb's website says through August sometime)? Or do you think they will be made permenant? (sp?) Any guesses? I'll be making our AR's in a couple of weeks and it's hard enough to do without the park hours! ;)

I need to go through and check mine too. I wonder why they made the changes? I wonder if they expect higher attendance during the week now.

I agree that I wish there was a morning park each day. After all the reports on evening EMH being crowded and non-resort guests being allowed to stay, I have no desire to be there, no desire to wait until 11:30pm at night to go back when people may have left either.

There are SO many more evening EMHs. Yuck.

I have always liked the early morning at Magic Kingdom. There is something special about walking down Main Street early in the morning, and that first ride on Dumbo. :)

Non-resort guests being allowed to stay? The 2 times I've done EMH, the cm's were very diligent about checking wristbands for admission onto the rides.
