Hi all! First time in 10 years to WDW!

BBB-what time is the "most popular" that I should call right away to book for mid November? Planning on doing Castle for supper. Would trying to get the first slot before park is open be okay or would she be tired of being dressed up that long? I want a time not during nap time (2-4ish) that won't make us worry the whole day about making the appointment.

Fireworks--the schedule is not out yet, but need to make dining reservations in a few days. On a non Disney site it said hours only open until 7pm. If the park closes that early will there still be fireworks or a night parade? Is it normal for MK to close that early (I checked and there is no Christmas party that night) or is maybe that website just wrong..

You need to be looking at the best calendar.

The "official" WDW calendar is not (NOT) the place to check for anything.

While NO calendar is (or could be) 100% accurate,
the WDW Travel Agent Calendar is consistently the earliest-listed
and best-maintained (frequently updated) of all of the on-line calendars.

Here's the entire year of Travel Agency Calendar listings.

The months' dates will automatically update to the newest info
(as in, change from 2013 to 2014 -or- from 2014 to 2015 )
as soon as that new month's info becomes available.
That time should be, some date between the 9th and 20th of the month
7 months prior to the beginning of the "new" month for which info is being sought.

Actually, Robo, the TA calendar is showing the MK closing at 7 on 11/17, but no MVMCP is scheduled for that night.

If it's offered during the time you're there, absolutely try for ADRs for the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert party!!!

You have a SEAT (in a chair, not on a curb) in a closed off area right near the castle, a lovely array of desserts, and a cup of coffee/tea for fireworks. Tink flies right over your head. There are bathrooms nearby-- and did I mention that you have a seat for fireworks???

It's well worth every dime.

We did this on New Year's Eve for both the regular wishes and the New Years fireworks. It was definitely worth it knowing that we did not have to stress about finding a spot in the crowd.

Please be careful of what you're promising.
Not all guests of the Dessert Party get seats for the fireworks.
Many of them must stand along the rail to see the show.
