Magic Kingdom On Sat. Nov 12th

I have tried very hard to plan our schedule around crowd levels. The weekend of November 12th is the last weekend of the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot and it is Super Soap weekend at MGM. I have picked the Magic Kingdom as our park for the day even though I have read how packed and horrible the MK is on Saturdays. My schedule is not flexible now because we were lucky enough to get breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table for this day.

Now, I am very worried....stressing that perhaps this was a really bad idea. I DO NOT want to wait in line 170 minutes to do Peter Pan's Flight, like someone just posted that they had to do.

Are you in agreement that most people will be at Epcot or MGM...or did we make a big mistake?

I'll be in the MK that day as well, and then I believe that is the night we are doing our wishes cruise, tho I might see if I can change the date for that, as that is one of the night Spectromagic is showing I if I go the cruise I will miss the parade.

I suspect every park will be very crowded that weekend...go with your plan and use fast passes like crazy!!

Switching to another park that day wouldn't help much...MGM will be wild with all the Soap people and Epcot will fill with people there for the last weekend of Food and Wine....although they tend to come later in the day and evening and are mostly back in World Showcase....if MK is a zoo, take a break at the hotel and then try Future World at Epcot in the late afternoon/evening.

Actually I suspect in spite of increased F&W crowds, Epcot would be your best bet that day.... but if you want to go to MK, go....it probably won't get crazy until close to noon....and if you are there at opening you can get a lot done before then. You can use fast passes in the afternoon and if it gets too bad....take a break and then go elsewhere.

No point in stressing over it....worrying won't keep any of the crowds away!! A crowded day in the MK is still a day in the MK!!!

Oh NO!!!! I forgot about that Soap weekend thing! UGH!!! We planned to go to MGM on Sunday- I guess that's not such a good idea now. Maybe I'll switch to AK for Sunday and do MGM the day we were going to do AK. What do you guys think?
