What is the best ride to rope drop in MK? We used to do Space Mt. Now we are considering Mine Train or Peter Pan instead. Will likely have multi-pass and a single-pass for TRON. Feels like just when I have my strategy figured out, Disney changes everything! Thinking of doing Tiana's for tier 1 LLMP, Winnie the Pooh and Pirates for tier 2 LLMP. Will try for a Space Mountain return after we use our first LL. Any other suggestions?! Or best to keep Space Mt as rope drop ? (1 in our party will not be riding space or Mine Train so this complicates the LL's too)

We’ve been doing Space lately and plan on it next trip. Some say it’s a waste of rope drop because it’s an easy LL to get later in the day. But we prefer not doing the craziness of 7DMT and Tron doesn’t open until after EE. We wouldn’t mind Peter Pan either but plan on doing that during EEH and we like to start with a bang.

Since you'll have MP I would RD what you may want to ride twice. I also enjoy RDing something everyone will ride so you don't have to get up and hurry for someone to stand around. MK has so many rides that there are a lot of good options, depending on your preferences. BTW, I chose those 3 as my 3 pre-booked and was able to get all the other rides throughout the day.

I can't imagine everyone not riding the first ride together in the morning at RD, so I would go for Peter Pan since everyone will ride. I'd focus on things your entire party will ride (I'm assuming you have Early Entry). Maybe Peter Pan, then things like Pooh and Buzz.

When travelling with riders skipping some rides, my party opts to start out together in the morning, and our separating or waiting for each other kicks in later. OR - we don't even go to the park at the same time in the first place. No way I am headed to RD to waste my time as others ride Space Mountain. That is ALOT of time not to my advantage.

While it seems apparent from your post, just want to confirm that you will have access to and are referring to the the early entry RD, correct? If you are not eligible, obviously the answer is different. And if early entry is 7 or 8 AM, will you be at or near the front of the EE crowd, or will you be more in the middle of the pack. &DMT may not be worth it unless you are at the front. SM is better these days. PP can get a little backed up if you are not in the front, but should still not have an issue getting on and off. You will also be closer to the second RD into Frontierland/Adventureland by Haunted Mansion that way, so you can be in front of the crowd for that RD as well. You could probably do SM, PP and then be at the front of the RD by HM before it opens if you are not too far back in the EE RD. We have done 7DMT, PP and then been at the front of HM this way if we are early enough.
