The park was pretty busy with lots of large groups with matching shirts (we noticed this too at Epcot the next day?)

There is a cheerleading competition in town. They were all over Epcot the last two days.

Really hoping they add more dates. MDH and I will be there for a "just the two of us" trip at the end of March and would love to do this together!

Did they run DAH during the summer last year? we're heading back to WDW June 30 - July 6. Thought this might be an awesome way to avoid some crazy crowds on wicked hot days!

Just curious, what has your fast pass strategy been for an after hours party? Just book something you like? something with longer duration so you save time for when there are no line ups?

Actually, FP doesn't really impact the party itself - it's not used *during* the party, of course, and you can find other things at the end of regular hours that don't need it.
My strategy was as soon as the party starts, go to Philharmagic, and then across the walkway to Small World. Both attractions have minimal waits at the end of the regular day, and by the time one gets out pretty much all the other queues will be flushed out, other than maybe Mine Train. Then you can either head to Frontierland, or start right in with Peter Pan.

I think it would depend on your own interests and your group. For us with my husband and three girls (10,8, 6) I got a FP for Enchanted Tales with Belle, and for the princesses at Fairy Tale Hall. We ended up not using the Rapunzel/Tiana FP but instead met them during the DAH. I think Belle was a good choice (not offered in DAH), but in hindsight I might have got it for Small World and Pirates. Both can take a while to actually ride, and I didn't think the experience of riding without a crowd was that big of deal. In contrast, meeting Rapunzel and Tiana in the DAH was an absolute highlight. We walked right in and they were waiting for us. My youngest is a huge Rapunzel fan and it was beyond awesome for her to have the individual experience. We were talking to both princesses at the same time. Now I wish I would have asked for a picture together. I don't know if they would have done it, but it would have been fun if they had.

I booked Jungle Cruise, 7dmt and tomorrow land speedway... second guessing my decision...

My DH is there tonight - I'm sure he won't keep good notes on what he is able to do but I just figured I would share that they showed up right at 4. There was an Event Entrance line and it opened at about 4:05PM today!

Thanks for the info!! We'll be there 3 weeks from tonight and I re-arranged my schedule for the day so that we can be there for 4:00.

Wow what an awesome night

Just got back to our offsite hotel, we arrived at 5pm and got our lanyards. We eat at Skipper canteen which was quite good and then from 8pm we did

Ended the night taking pics in front of the castle and went to see Mickey

It seemed that there was only a few hundred people there tonight and at times it felt we had the park all to ourselves.

Well worth the money

I was there last night also with my DD. We had a great time. The park did seem extremely empty.

We were quite disappointed that Big Thunder Mountain was not operating all night though as it's one of our favorites.
