Did you guys hear about this?

I am not sure if this would be a good thing or a bad thing? What would you do if we got stranded on our upcoming cruise?

I heard about that on the news this morn. I would be worried also being that close to Mexico right now. All is good though from what I hear. I could think of worse things than being trapped on the Magic for a couple extra days. There is so much to do on ship that I could definitely keep myself busy. They couldn't charge you for extra days for something like that.

I did hear about that. There is a post on the main cruise board and I have been watching Shepard Smith this afternoon. The ship is STILL dead in the water.

And I actually did think about it. If this were to happen on our cruise. I think I'd be happy with accomodations at 1 of the parks(doesn't have to be for 7 days though) and free booking on the Fantasy which will be taking over the Magic's routes.

Of course if DCL is feeling extremely generous, I will take a booking through the Panama Canal on their next liner to go through Or a steep discount

It took me all of 30 seconds to come up with that. A bit more to type it out

The Elizabeth Swan & Pirate Game
On the 2008 Member cruise thread Gary (OKWMember) came up with the pirate game where each 100th post got a pirate (). To add more fun, each 99th post got an Elizabeth Swan bride. This game was played in the 2009 Member Cruise thread and was so much fun. It really got people chatting. When will you get an or a ?

Every 99th post = 1 ES bride
Every 499th post = 2 ES
Every 999th post = 3 ES

Every 100th post = 1 Pirate ( )
Every 500th post = 2 Pirates
Every 1000th post = 3 Pirates

We'll have a prize for the DISer with the most pirates and the most swans at the onboard DIS meet.


So who's game for this?

I figure the game must be decent because that cruise on went on sale a little over a month ago and they are on thread 3. I'd like to at least see a 2nd thread for us before we sail.

Just saying Hi. This cruise is still 50/50 for us. Sorry I have not been posting but I am on the Panama canal cruise and lots going on with that since we are a party of 11. Just hope everyone is alright and doing well. I just want to throw this out there and it is not an ad. If any of you fly Southwest I work for them on the ground at LAX. If you have any questions, I will be more than happy to help you out if I can. No I cant get you a free flight.

Goooooood morning!!!! It's cold and rainy here and i really wish i was on a cruise ship (or island) in warmer weather!

So i just got all of my wedding photos and i'm going crossed eyed trying to look through them all and pick which ones i want to order prints of/make thank yous with/blow up. Most of you are recently married... how did you do it?!?!!

Oh and ya know what else i was thinking.... I've noticed that some of the other cruisers have cool little logos for their cruise in their signatures... i'm thinking we need one! Anyone good at graphic design?! We should throw out some ideas on what our cruise logo should be! heheheee

I agree we need to have a logo. We had one for our last cruise and I thought it was a great idea. I can work on one. Just let me know what our theme should be!

Also, Mrs. Z, Choose what you like best and what really identifies you as a couple! If you are fun loving, pick those photos that reflect that. If you are more formal, pick those photos. From the photos that I saw on your trip report, they look BEAUTIFUL and I can understand why you are having a difficult time!

Also, Mrs. Z, Choose what you like best and what really identifies you as a couple! If you are fun loving, pick those photos that reflect that. If you are more formal, pick those photos. From the photos that I saw on your trip report, they look BEAUTIFUL and I can understand why you are having a difficult time!

I am always leaning more towards the candid/informal fun pictures as being my favorite ones! I am going to attempt to get crafty and make a scrap book photo album of some kind. It'll take a long time since i'm not crafty what so ever but hey it'll keep me busy!

I honestly do not know. I heard we will have the check in on the ship but I do not know when. As far as the logo goes I like it because it does not have a pirate theme.

Wow, I like the logo Tigger/Pooh! Though I am a Goofy fan myself. I also like the idea of the pirate game. Sounds like a lot of fun and we are getting more and more people onboard.. A little about what is going on here. We managed to bypass the snow yesterday when everyone else got snow and ice. Yeah! We are starting to have our 10% chances or so every day from now until about May. I am dreaming of a Magical vacation already!!
