Alan, you are staying at Animal Kingdom Villas right? We were there in Feb. Loved it! We're staying at BLT this time around. First time there.

Welcome aboard! You will love your DCL cruise and the kids will have a great time! What deck are you on? Seems like most people are on 6...the Party Deck! LOL. I'm on 7 and it doesn't look like anyone on here is close to us.

I'm super excited (maybe even more than the kids)!! We are on Deck 8 between the mid and forward elevators.

Welcome aboard! My jaw dropped when I realized you guys live just 15 minutes from us! We live in Surprise I'm happy to know there is another AZ family going to be on board! When and with what airline do you fly to FL?

We are going to head out the Thursday afternoon prior to the Cruise. We usually travel on US Airways because they do direct flights and were way cheaper than Southwest. We also fly into Tampa because they had better time choices, lower rates and only about an hour farther than Orlando to the Port.

I have both a DSLR and Canon Powershot. The Powershots are good little cameras. Here is a link to a review site (CNET) that can help you in selecting what is best for you.

Maria, we're headed there. Leave next Tuesday evening for late dinner at Ohana. And then WDW Wednesday - Friday. We'll be at MNSSHP on the 6th just like you! Can't wait.

We are finally starting to think about packing. I'm so behind on everything. Been putting in 15-17 hours days at work the last few weeks. This break can't come fast enough.

Working on a pack list.

Maureen had asked about cameras, I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good underwater camera that takes great regular pictures as well.

Happy Monday everyone!! I packed our suitcases this weekend and only have the bathroom stuff left to put in. Picture the starting line at a track meet before the gun goes off and that is me. I have 11 days until we leave and I CAN'T WAIT! Only 7 more working days for me too.

Wow! Congratulations. I was wondering what I should be doing at 11 days prior. I only have a suitcase filled with water and misc stuff. (Anxiety attack). I still have shopping to do, hair coloring, pedicure, bank trip. All to do next week after DH gets paid.

Sounds like a great idea. When are you guys planning on getting to MK that day? We can decide from there. We'll try to get there by 4 or 4:30. We have dining ressies at 4:50.

Starting to have a bit of anxiety of my own as I now need to switch gears and plan for Cub Scout Family Camp this weekend so now I only have a few days to finish my Cruise planning/packing!! I'm a pro at packing so shouldn't be too bad (crossing fingers)! Leaving in 10 days!!!!

Soooo all you veterans of DCL what do you suggest for arrival at the Port on day of departure?? What is the typical timeline once you get there? We are staying at the Four Points just down the beach from there and will be returning our rental car even closer to the Port than the hotel prior to arriving at Port.

Have just about everything booked. Still need to decide on our excursions. Need to work that one in this week.

We are going to Ohana on Tuesday as well, but not late. We have a 6:25 reservation. Then off to MK for extra magic hours that night.
