Magic In Paradise: 10/8-10/15 2011. All cruisers check in here. (#2)

Wow! Congratulations. I was wondering what I should be doing at 11 days prior. I only have a suitcase filled with water and misc stuff. (Anxiety attack). I still have shopping to do, hair coloring, pedicure, bank trip. All to do next week after DH gets paid.

That is my list for Sat: pedicure, haircut, bank trip. Then Thur next week is taking the babies to doggy daycare. As soon as we put their plastic rolling cart of dogfood into the car they will go nuts. They know that is when they get to leave to go play with their dog friends. We don't do that until right before we are ready to put them in the car.

We are going to Ohana on Tuesday as well, but not late. We have a 6:25 reservation. Then off to MK for extra magic hours that night.

Alan, you will have to let us know what the big surprise is at MK when you can tell us. We have to live vicariously through you.

Sounds like a great idea. When are you guys planning on getting to MK that day? We can decide from there. We'll try to get there by 4 or 4:30. We have dining ressies at 4:50.

Linda, we were thinking around 5 or 5:30. Want to make sure Tori (23mos) has a nap before we get there so she can be rested up for a later night than usual.

There are a bunch of us doing Bernard's My DH Richard and I are 2 of them. This will be our first tour with him. Read so many good reviews, so we're excited

You reminded to ask a question I've been forgetting to ask:

Would anybody on the tour want to meet for breakfast prior to heading over?
Strictly informal mind you and open to anybody who wants to join us, not just those of us doing Bernard's

I love it when I take Onslow's harness out of the coat closet. He just starts jumping up and down because he knows he means he's going for a ride.

As for my own list, I have no clue But i know stuff got added. The other day Rich tells me he needs shoes. But he decided not to look at Target's selection. OK. So tonight, I'm just asking him if he wants me to order through Zappos, and he says yeah. So I pick up his shoes, and these things are FALLING APART I mean serious holes here people. I don't know why he lets his shoes get that bad

Well anyway, I ordered him some through Zappos, and he'd better like them. I also added a pair of crocs for myself, which I had been on the fence about, but since i was ordering anyhow I figured I may as well throw them in right

Hey welcome! My DW,and 2DD's are also doing Bernards. Again great reviews and a great tour of the island. Well the packing has begun in our house. Cleared the dining room table off, put all 4 suitcases on top, and began! Now to get the car in for an oil change and start driving in 9 days! Now the anxiety and nerves are really kicking in!

Got to love our 'last minute' fellows! I asked my dh to try on the suit I wanted him to wear and whew it fit! No telling next week, what they'll come up with that they need or don't have... Could get very interesting!

Oh my goodness! Y'all are killing me! I'm no where NEAR packed...I'm thinking the theme of my cruise is "If you give a Mouse a Cookie"

One thing has definitely led to the other. Since this young woman is keeping the house, started organizing a desk drawer, which led to the laundry utensil drawer, which led to my bathroom drawers (10!) and cabinets, which then led back to the kitchen medicine cabinet, and my lazy susans. And then I thought "Gee, I need another utensil holder for my large 25 inch drawer", ran up to HomeDepot, and met with the lady who said Kraftmaid wanted to see my kitchen for cabinetry purposes. Then saw some rug tape, and decided to redo my rugs, inside and out. Came home, sorted that utensil drawer, made an appt for the Kraftmaid guy and I didn't have ANY of this planned! If you've NOT read the book, go read it...it's so cute but exhausting...and that's me right now!

My home is gonna be in great shape by the time I hit that ship...but maybe not this body!!!

OMG, page 2!! We are losing people I guess the closer it gets to leaving time!! I am training one of the guys here to do my job or at least part of it while I am gone. He ended up in a cast so he can't do his police duties right now and got promoted(demoted) to work with me for a while. He is SO looking forward to it. I told them all here that I don't care if they lock the door and don't do anything at all because I am leaving for vacation in 10 days!!

I just woke up. I have been really tired this last week. Well today is the last day of work. They suckered me into 3 HR. OT. today from 12:30-3:30 to be a acting supervisor. Then my shift from 3:30 to midnight. At midnight done until Oct. 23.
