We are scheduled (key word) to arrive at 9:30 pm on a Wednesday. How late does DME run and are there any "cut-offs' for luggage transfers (I seem to remember reading something about 10:30 pm).

Another question, given the lateness of our arrival would it make any sense to claim our luggage and bring it on bus.

The cut off for ME luggage transfers is 10 PM. We had a flight scheduled to arrive at 9:40 and I had already planned to get our bags ourselves at baggage claim and take them on the bus with us. Who wants a knock on the door at 1 am with for luggage delivery? Our flight is now scheduled to arrive at 10:05 PM, so the decision has been made for me

I'm not sure how late ME runs and couldn't find an answer in my ME kit I just received, but it is either 24 hours or at least until 1 AM.

Magical Express runs 24 hours as needed. If there are Guests expected, DME will transport them. If there are Guests with 6 AM return flights, DME will be picking them up at their resorts around 3 AM.

Standard air travel wisdom dictates that one's carry-on luggage should contain whatever items one will need for the first 24 hours at the destination, in case the airline misdirects the luggage.

Note that DME is not responsible for tipping when Guests claim their own luggage, and that it's customary to tip any service person who handles the luggage. This includes the bus driver.
