Magic Christmas Cruise 2010 (Dec 18th - 29th) - PART II

I think that would be fun! We would enjoy being with the DISers! We would enjoy sharing a table as well.

Lisa - what did you think about DWTS last night? Jennifer Grey was awesome!:banana: I was glad to see Kurt Warner do a great job too.:cool1: Poor Michael Bolton, it was a rough night for him.:sad2: It seems like the judges are scoring a little low this year. I guess I understand that they don't want to give out high scores so early in the season. Who do you think is going home?

For those of you who love Palo, good news is that PJ will be there on our cruise as your maitre 'd - wonderful fellow who works hard to make each meal special. Some friends on the WBTA right now confirmed this info.

I'm trying to get the late diners together so we can all eat in the same restaurant and in the same area. You do not have to have other DISers at your table if you want it to just be your family we can request that. We did this on another cruise and it was a lot of fun. Let me know if you want to join the list.

We are in second seating also, and would LOVE to join the DIS'ers! There are 5 of us.

DVC - we could do the same thing for main seating, but I don't know how to go about it. I know there are several of us here who have main seating.

Ok,, I just got off the phone with DCL and to guarantee that we would be on the same dining rotation and seated in the same ares of the dining room, we would have to link our reservations.............all of us. I was also warned that this could create problems when trying to book shore excursions and/or Palo individually. Thoughts ?? Suggestions ??

I don't mind linking the reservations so much - we're already linked with folks for the group brunch.

The issue that I have is that we need to be at the same table for dinner with my parents - they can't be on the other side of five tables. So if we're linked with lots of folks, can we extralink with those folks who need to be at our table no just in our corner of the dining room?

The downside to linking is that if you are doing something in your reservation, it can mean that others that you are linked with can't access theirs at the same time to make changes. Since we've already made all our ressies, this isn't really a problem for us.

Ok, just got off the phone with my friend who works for DCL and her suggestion is this: Wait until 2 weeks prior to the cruise to actually link the reservations. Since Disney doesn't even look at seating arrangements until 4 days prior to sail date, it will give everyone ample time to finalize plans. If worse comes to worse, we'll head to Rockin'D Bar and work seating arrangements out once we get onboard.

Since Stephen and I are doing B2B cruises on the Magic (12/11 - 12/18 and 12/18 - 12/29), we might even be able to take care of things during the 1st cruise......it never hurts to ask.

I am sitting at my desk eating popcorn from a bucket we got at WDW at Christmas time - it says Celebrate the Season - it may have even been from the What Will You Celebrate campaign. I love those popcorn buckets. pluto:

I just watched a video about Disney Christmas Cruises and they now have put out an email about our trip for agents to send out. I guess Disney decided to let people know about our trip! Wonder if that will help fill up the ship?

Hello all!!! Nick here, Meemous' son. Just saying hello and how excited we are to go on this cruise!!! Christmas in the water is gonna rock!!! Anyways, I did a request for the facebook group, and caught up on most stuff. Prolly gonna order some of the shirts and the teddy bears for the kids. I have a question though.. I'm starting my search on magnets for the doors for when we cruise..anyone have any links or ideas for Christmas ones?:woohoo:

We just booked the cruise tonight. So excited! Just got back last week from the Med cruise so I really shouldn't be booking yet but the price was right and I just love Disney cruisin!!!! We are a family of 5

We booked 2 Oceanviews but we don't have the room number yet (GTY). We'd love to do the FE if still possible. We would also love to do the meetups , ornament exchange and the secret Mickey.
