I have no problem with the existence of the LL tower...I just wish it could have been built about 300 yards farther away from Ft. Wilderness. Even still being visible, but over the treetops in the distance. Not looming directly over Pioneer Hall!

Part of what's surprising is that Disney has been so careful about not making jarring transitions-for example, the tops of buildings close to the border of Frontierland and Adventureland were carefully crafted to seem OK for both. Also, I think there was something about the color of Tower of Terror because it could be seen from Epcot World Showcase (or is it a color in the building in WS?)
But there's the idea of not having transitions jarring, as Lakeshore Lodge/Fort Wilderness is.

Not everyone loves towers. I prefer having my own separate building not attached to anyone where I can hear them arguing with each other until 2am... (looking at you, BPK...)

Based on the age of the fort buildings, I can see the fort commercial buildings getting exterior redesigns to match LSL. However PIT does not match Poly at all so who knows.
