Yes, you can check in and get the MBs for all the guests registered in the same room you are.

Not sure what you mean by activated. Once you check in, you will be able to use all the Magic Bands tied to the room.

No- they are automatically activated. If you fully complete on line check-in in advance (put a credit card on file and set up your PIN for purchases), you don't have to visit the front desk at all. Your room number will be sent to you via text message on arrival day.
