The app was not working for me either. I was checking daily for my magic bands to say personalize. On the 50th day i got it! I was also able to select my fast passes right away as well

Same this happened to me on day 42. Checked it in the morning and nothing was available. Checked again before I went to bed & BAM...MBs & Fast Pass+ available. I didn't receive any emails (as some of reported receiving) letting me know. Keep checking!!!

Just back from Pop, some weeks out we had a note to customize. While checking in many were beging handed their bands, or told to choose the colors.
I thought the novelty of something new was cute.

I was able to enter he FP, but had no real way of paper unless I printed it to keep track. Then to change them as our plans did change often, you needed to get to a machine....trying to remember or predicting when you would be in that park near that attraction was a challenge. A paper ticket you can plan right then and keep tabs on return times.

The best use of the FP was the Princess meet n greet, and Wishes, planning on getting there really early.

Bottom line, I thought hey were a sweaty gross mess. After the first hours I woul let it in my tote bag. The jibbetz fell off, I much prefer having the touch room key.

A huge heads up for packages on the band, if you have previous tickets and do not want to use the two days you purchase for free dinning, DO NOT link previous tickets. cM said as long as I did not use the room key my two days would be there......the Hoppers from my trip last year FD, were added to the band.

In reality, the band entry used my two new basic days, then started to use the hoppers. It was a nightmare trying to get my two days back and onto a ticket.
CM at check in had no clue what really was going to happen.

If I had it to do over, they could keep the band, and I would have just used the old tickets for park entry.

Haven't been checking everyday but logged on tonight for Nov 17 check-in and customize and choose fp+ was there. I'm so excited.

I was told that I can customize but receive and error message when I go to confirm my address. I'm from canada so don't know if that's the issue. Will call today. We go nov 13. Selected fp+. Have to say I'm not a fan. Can already see how the planning may not work out and then I'll be licked into one park for the day. I know I can modify it but its quite a pain.

That's what happens, then you need to find a machine and hopefully not go past the timeframe to change them. Many of ours were wasted.

We are leaving nov 24. I happened to check my reservation on my Disney experience yesterday and it was there.

We arrive October 26th and found out on Friday September 27th.

I hadn't heard a thing about mine until 30 days before our departure- even on My Disney Experience- so I called. Apparently, when I had changed the size of my ticket package, an error occured. The person who did it did not fully delete the previous ticket package off of my account and it caused some sort of glitch, not allowing my park tickets to be linked to my reservations, even though it looked like they were. Anyway, tech support had to go in and do something to fix it and right away the customize Magic Band option came up. We customized them and received our bands a couple days later.

A week later, we received an email and something in the mail that said we could customize our bands and make our FP+ reservations, which we already did!

I just received something in the mail today in a large envelope. It was our notification that we were selected to use Magic Bands & FP+. I was surprised that they wouldn't notify us by email. The cost of the printing (not paper, more like a heavy paper/cardboard) and mailing must not bother Disney

I accidentally found out that I could customize and book FP last week by checking my reservation online.
