Magic Bands Shipping

The status just changed from being able to customize yesterday, to say they are being personalized today. Based on others experiences, when should I expect that they'll be shipped?

We arrive at WDW tomorrow (4.17). MDE said that we had until March 17th (30 days prior to travel) to customize our Magic Bands, and they shipped within a couple days after that. I think we got them around March 24th.

In the past its been fourish days; usually I get mine about two days after that

I got my bands exactly 3 weeks before our check in date.

We personalized ours last week and just received them yesterday- for our trip that's just over 3 weeks away.

from my experience about 3 weeks prior.
this trip which i just got home from today they arrived 20 days prior but had 21 days prior not been on a sunday they would have arrived then as they did sit in my local post office from satuerday evening until monday morning.

Never lol just kidding....I just got off the phone for the fifth time, ours have been in that status for a couple weeks with no explanation. You should get a shipping confirm within about 3-5 days after the customization is locked down. I've been googling and endlessly searching to try to find out if any others are experiencing the same issue as us and 3-5 days after the lock down date seems to be the going rate right now.


They do ship regular mail usually just an fyi so after you get the email it usually takes several days via usps to get them. Last year they were shipped on a Saturday and we received them on Wednesday .

For those wondering, I actually got an email overnight last night saying they shipped! I'm surprised at how quickly they went out based on what others here have said.

So my timeline based on the MDE website was:
April 15th - said I had to have them personalized by this date
April 16th - status changed to say customizing
April 17th - shipped, I was emailed the tracking number

For those wondering, I actually got an email overnight last night saying they shipped! I'm surprised at how quickly they went out based on what others here have said.

So my timeline based on the MDE website was:

April 17th - shipped, I was emailed the tracking number

that was pretty much my experience.
BUT just to let you know it saying shipped simply means a shipping label was created. it will likely not actually move until monday.
and it will say that its in memphis tn for that time since that is where the magic bands are located and shipped out from most of the time.
so i wouldn't expect them to be on your doorstep by monday or anything.

Mine had to be done by 4/13, got the email that they shipped early in the morning on 4/14, and the tracking says they should be here today! WAY faster than I expected. In fact, they might already be out in my mailbox....ooooohhh.

Our window closed on April 8th and we received our MB on Saturday April 11. The return address showed FL, but the tracking showed that the packaged was accepted for shipment in TN.
