Magic Bands multiple MDE's same Res

I have a question on how this works with Magic Bands and tickets / reservations.

I have a trip planned for Feb 23rd arrival.

I have the Reservation in my MDE and one other person. I linked my tickets, then got the Magic Bands set up and they are due to arrive today.

The other person on my reservation has his own MDE account so when I invited him to share the plan, it linked his MDE to my 'family & friends' on my reservation.

But, when I look at the magic bands, it only shows mine and his shows on his MDE account. Why doesn't it show both on my MDE? Is this accurate and he will be fine with using it?

He's also got an older magic band on his MDE from a trip last december. I think he lost it or doesn't have it, but will that older band have the ticket / room res on it too as well as the new one?

2- Yes.
But, just to keep things as clear as possible-

There is no reservation info, or ticket info, or credit card info,
or FP+ info "put onto" a MagicBand.

The MagicBands just contain a unique serial number that is used
to access the information that is stored in your MyDisneyExperience computer file.

So, even if you were to lose a MagicBand, the info stays locked in your file.
Disney can just set up a new band (different serial number)
to access the info in your MDE file.

The MagicBand works like the combination to a locked safe, a key to a locked door.

Why does this distinction matter?
Because there is so much fear about losing bands and,
in turn, losing all of a guest's information thought to be on the band.

The MB, itself, is not the file of info or the container of the info.
The MB just unlocks the file of info to be read, when needed.

You will only see MagicBands for yourself, profiles you manage, and for connected Family & Friends that allow you to view "All" plans. Since you don't see his, your entry in his Family & Friends list is probably set to view 'shared' plans. Either setting works just fine.

If he doesn't have that MagicBand in his possession, he should deactivate the MagicBand from his 'MagicBands and Cards' page. Any Active MagicBands that is listed on a MDE profile has access to the same benefits and entitlements.
